i think Israel fail to understand that the rest of the world counts every Palestinian life as precious. We do not subscribe to the idea that Israel had to kill thousands of children and civilians, nor to the idea that blocking aide is ever acceptable.

Hamas attacked first, and genocide hasn’t been confirmed, so there’s that.

Please note that you saying "the genocide" like it's a fact doesn't make it so.
Of course everyone could predict that Israel would retaliate, and given that Hamas is so embedded in civilian infrastructure, a blind man could have seen from space that there would be a lot of damage.

Hamas inflicted the war on their own people by launching a horrendous terror attack on Israel, knowing full well what the response might be, and now Hamas randomly execute people in Gaza, and still you choose to only mention Netanyahu in your pp, and not Hamas.

One of the many downsides of Hamas remaining armed and in partial control of Gaza is that it makes funding and resources for reconstruction less likely to be forthcoming.

You may be surprised to learn that the vast majority of the world do not think slaughtering, maiming, and terrorising thousands upon thousands is a reasonable response whatever the provocation. Netanyahu and any individual who used force against the Palestinian civilians must be held accountable, why wouldn’t they be? Anyone continuing blocking aide needs dealing with first.

I think everyone is praying that Israel will stop and Palestine can be given resources and time to find its feet. It will be a miracle if Netanyahu stops though. Is the aide getting in again?

Agreed. I wish for the sake of the Gazans that a pan Arab force to keep order after a disarmed Hamas was a possibility, but can see why none of them fancy it. It's also pretty obvious some Arab countries have been relieved and indeed actively (if quietly) supportive of some of the things Israel has done over the last couple of years.

I do actually agree, no one wants the awful task of getting rid of Hamas. I think there amongst other middle east countries was relief that the IDF tried since no one else wanted the task. Obviously, the scale of destruction shows they move around and hide then pop up, then hide then pop up...guerilla warfare is immensely difficult.

So if no one does it, they remain in power. Rinse and repeat. I'd want a buffer zone and a very big wall.

I think most people are interested in what’s happening in Gaza with Hamas, you’d have to be very committed to deflect away from that.

US soldiers would be effective but politically tricky. Domestically voters might not want it.

IDF could but perhaps Israel don’t want to get into the cycle of blame either.
