I think this plan has a far, far better chance of succeeding under Trump - he actually does get things done, and I suspect they respect him for that in the ME, for all Europe is horrified by him.

He said their names were already vetted by Israel, without disclosing them.

“We need to deploy them to take care of the daily life of the people in Gaza, and the Board of Peace should support and supervise the flow of finance and money, which will come for the reconstruction of Gaza,” he said, referring to a board that would govern Gaza and be chaired by US President Donald Trump.

Abdelatty said the 15-member committee had already been approved by all Palestinian factions, including Hamas.

Israel are not blameless either, the war criminal Netanyahu needs to be held accountable for his war crimes and for the fraud charges, and the things they have done to Palestinians are unforgivable, just like the things Hamas have done. The Israeli government wants to eradicate Palestinians just as much as Hamas want to eradicate Jews. Both sides have been documented saying heinous things and IMO they are both sides of the same coin.

Israeli need to keep out of the west bank also, “settlers” should not be allowed to take peoples homes and terrorise Palestinians, they have no claims to anyone else's home, Palestinian or not.

Hamas doesn’t want a ceasefire because they want to take all of Israels land and continue to reign over innocent Palestinians with their terror.

Hard changes have been made before in many places@EasternStandard Transparency about what has actually been happening and has happened, food and medicine and absolute commitment to stopping IDF/Israeli abuse of power, will calm things.

Yes. Israel wasn't fighting itself, you know. They did lose almost a thousand soldiers in Gaza, I doubt they were killed by "innocent children".

@SpaceRaccoon an armed conflict implies both sides bore arms against each other, I don’t think it’s how you describe the slaughter of innocent children numbering tens of thousands.

Palestine is a state now, hopefully they will be allowed to manage their own recovery. They could manage that with support from the international community. Those who have committed atrocities should be tried and reparations made for the destruction. The UN could take an active role in that process.
