Rather than jumping in with two feet why not read the actual thread and see what was written by someone who was mocking those that were being released today on the Israeli side including Palestinian children.

Today is meant to be a good day. The hostages will be released shortly. Palestinians who have been locked up will be released today and may this hideous genocide finally come to an end.

Must be difficult to recognise a state whose stated aim is to wipe you and your people off the map. Think about it!

I think that’s because you are allowed freedom of thought and havent been doctrinated with hate for Jews over decades. Anyone who defies Hamas or speaks out is shot. And anyone who gives their life to the cause of the extinction of Israel is lauded.

We know from our latest research before the war that most children in the military detention system face appalling emotional and physical abuse, including 86% of them reporting being beaten by Israeli authorities in detention, and 69% reporting having experienced sexual violence and abuse.

This is what Israelis do to Palestinian children in detention. I don't know how anyone could argue that they don't need to keep their hands off Palestinian children when they are sexually abusing almost 70% of the children they take and beating 86% of them. Vile people who need to be locked up themselves.

I think it should be up to the Palestinian authorities to decide what happens to people who break the law in Palestine. Why do Israel think they have the right to police Palestine? It's pretty bizarre and if Palestinian authorities were dragging Israeli children out of their beds in Israel in the dead of night and bringing them to detention as Israelis do there would be a lot said about it. Israel need to keep their hands off Palestinian children in Palestine full stop.

It will be very traumatic for Israelis to face up to what they have done, and it will take a few generations I think. It was very hard for Germany, and they are still coming to terms with it. That is, if Israel manages to survive the fact that they have destroyed much of their essential support base in the US. I think that in the long run, Netanyahu may have destroyed Israel. The next generation might look back and see this as a turning point I think. However, we won't see this for many years, history is slow to work itself out

Wow. This is classic Palestinianism. Nothing is their fault. Stabbing an unarmed civilian in the BACK is ‘justified resistance’.

‘Justified resistance’ is resisting being prevented from killing Jews from my understanding, which has often been successful. If Palestinians hadn’t been ‘justifiably resisting’ for the last 50 years and had got on with building their own State, I imagine they would have had much happier, peaceful lives
and their 16 year olds wouldn’t be be in prison for terrorist attacks.

Being raised in an ideology that advocates killing Jews as an heroic act of martyrdom pushed this 16 year old to do that.

Throwing rocks at cars travelling on a highway is attempted murder in my book.

Would you be OK with dodging rocks pelted at your car when you’re driving on a motorway in the UK?

Someone who thinks they have nothing to lose might attack property, or steal something, it takes more than that to stab an innocent person apparently going about their business. The Israeli government did not make him do that.

I literally said in my post it didn't deserve time in jail, just that I thought 'throwing stones' minimised what they were actually doing.

I’m sure some stones are bigger than others but it doesn’t deserve time in jail. The stories and videos of stone throwing isn’t new.

Look at what the settlers do. Steal houses and land and with the protection of the Israeli army. I’ve seen videos of those children doing horrific acts but they aren’t rotting away in prison.

In desperation people do all sorts. What pushed this 16 year old do that. We have to ask the question.

Despite what many on here say that it’a a hatred for Jews I don’t think that’s the reason alone. But nobody wants to accept that. Or even consider there could be other reasons.
