I wonder if our disgrace of a PM, as well as Macron and Carney, still support and recognise a Palestinian State now they can clearly see what that means, now the IDF has withdrawn and Hamas are killing anybody who might potentially support or lead the rebuilding of Gaza as a peaceful, independent State?

Israel having had to put security measures in place to prevent Palestinians trying to and succeeding in killing their citizens, (which is basically what the so-called occupation is as the Palestinians have rejected all opportunities to create their own State preferring to put their efforts into the annihilation of the sovereign State next door), has still hurt their citizens because thousands of Israelis have still been murdered and taken hostage.

That would have been the tip of the iceberg WITHOUT the ‘occupation’, so it sounds to me like you want more Oct 7ths which the Palestinians have vowed to carry out again, and again?

In 10 years time when we are back here again with the militia Israel created turning on their occupational overlords everyone will act all wide eyed, wondering how history just keeps repeating itself over and over again. Why won't those people living under violent occupation just submit, it's a mystery, the only solution is obviously to bomb the crap out of them again.

It's incredibly sad for Palestinians but this 'peace deal' is just a reset on the cycle of violence. Until governments hold Israel to account and make their illegal occupation hurt their citizens rather than benefit them there won't be peace for Palestinians or Israelis.

It's a good example of a "damaged" building that is clearly structurally unsound and not safe for habitation but in the families words "better than a tent". Sad you read that article and your only take from it is

Hurrah for the hostages being back. It must be a great relief for them.

Can the IDF now please stop firing tear gas and rubber bullets at excited family members awaiting the release of Palestinians! The majority released have not been convicted of any offence and the families deserve their celebration, not to be shot.

Sadly, if Hamas says the people they are killing are 'collaborators', 'informants' or gangs or clans then obviously some will believe them because Hamas never lies. Bit like The Taliban. Kill anyone they want or they think is against them. From war back to terrorist rule.
