Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib, a Gazan activist who lives in the US, has spoken widely about the actual harm western activists who organise these marches and chooses the messaging actually do to the prospects of long term peace for Palestinians. Again, talking about pro-Palestinians in general.

Israel isn't going anywhere. The best prospect for peace right now is this peace deal. Western and Arabic countries are on board with it, hopefully they can make Hamas see sense.

Religiously, I’m atheist. I sat and watched in horror at the horrific reports of 7th October. As a mother of two young people my empathy was instant. I have that same empathy for the young people suffering equally horrific acts in Gaza today.

At some point, for the future, the past has to be put behind.

Israel have always responded disproportionately to terrorist attacks. Hamas would've known many civilians would die during the retaliation. Sadly, they probably share a similar mindset to the Taliban in terms of being happy to sacrifice the populations human rights in the name of ideology.

This war was started by Hamas who committed a massacre on October 7th, they even stabbed women as they were raping them and shot a nine month old baby dead in it's mother' arms, and promised to repeat further massacres. How could any country be accepted to tolerate that?

Hopefully Hamas' so called allies will apply pressure on them to accept the peace deal so the bloodshed can end

The ordinary Palestinian people are not Islamic militants. It’s like a rapist saying a woman was asking for it or a man who murders his wife saying it was self defense. It is victim blaming. The murdered children did nothing to you, they did not deserve to die.

It wasn't hundreds of years ago, it was recent. Palestinians carried out multiple massacres of Jews in the early and mid 1900s. There may have been some Palestinians that took in jewish refugees, but others were massacring them
