It is so sickening that they continue to act with such impunity. The bombed the hospital killing four journalists and THEN struck a second time killing the rescue workers who were trying to retrieve the bodies of the dead and injured.

The genocide continues in plain sight.

An injured emergency worker is led away by two other emergency workers. There is rubble and wreckage behind them. He is badly hurt.

Four journalists among 15 killed in Israeli strike on hospital, Gaza officials say

The strikes on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis are said to have killed journalists working for international media.

I can already predict some replies continuing to defend the psycho murdering IDF, rather than admit that once again they were guillable enough to fall for the IDF lies.

Evidence seems to be pointing to the 'camera' being one used to livestream by Reuters. Of the 6 individuals named as militants, 5 Sky couldn't find evidence of terrorist/militant/Hamas involvement, and the 6th, who did have connections to Hamas or similar, was killed the day before, not in this strike.

And people wonder why the IDF are considered unreliable with the truth...

Excellent journalism by sky news. I hope the posters insisting the contrary and believing IDF lies will read this.

The IDF lie and lie and lie and lie.

Even insightful

During campaigns of genocide and ethnic cleansing, disinformation is a potent weapon—a tool to dehumanize victims, justify mass violence, and most importantly, sow seeds of doubt designed to muzzle calls for intervention. When information is weaponized, confusion and doubt no longer emerge from the “fog of war” as a symptom, but are purposefully cultivated with the explicit intention of creating it.
At the time of writing, Israeli forces have killed over 30,000 Palestinians across Gaza and the West Bank since October 2023. They have targeted hospitals, schools, and civilians fleeing their homes. Israel’s assault is marked not only by the historic scale of violence being inflicted upon Palestinians, but by the unprecedented flood of disinformation being deployed to justify it.”
from the attached article a very inciteful read into the type of disinformation being spread on this site

So, the victims of this horrific attack were innocent after all. Surprise, surprise. Shame on all of those here who bend over backwards to justify their murder.

Again, and for the last time, neither you nor I know the full truth behind what's happened.
The IDF lie, as all armies do. The terrorists lie, as all terrorists do. The truth will maybe come out, maybe not. Maybe the truth will be known ever to only a few select people- maybe most of us will never know.

My point remains that all those people would still be alive if Hamas had met conditions and surrendered.

I'll leave you to your righteous anger now. I hope you enjoy it. I think you might.

Don’t try and normalise what Israel is doing here. This is not about the IDF lying about an incident. This is yet another case that seems to confirm that civilians are being targeted. So the Israeli government are lying about what they are actually doing in Gaza and that’s an entirely different thing to individuals in the IDF lying. They say they are fighting to destroy Hamas but it seems to be the case that they are trying to destroy the Palestinians themselves.

This is where the figure of 10 came from, which we don't yet know whether to be true or not:

Channel 12, citing military sources, reported that 18 people were killed in total, including 10 Hamas operatives, though the IDF has so far confirmed only six.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-widens-nasser-hospital-probe-amid-questions-over-tank-shelling-authorization

Thanks.

So the IDF said 6 but Gloriia's source is this random Israeli channel that claimed 10? I can see why there is so much misinformation on this thread now.

You still haven't said where you read 6-10 terrorists were killed. I have looked everywhere and can only find the IDF allegedly claiming to kill 6. Where did you get the 10 figure from?

I'd leave you to your denial, but you're the one who wants to discuss it here.

I listened to what the IDF said.
First it was an accident.
Then it was deliberate, because of the camera, but the wrong missiles might have been used.
Then it was so they could kill Hamas members dressed up as journalists.

The IDF and Israeli government are throwing out lie after lie. You pick one and believe it, if that makes you feel better but it's still a war crime.

Or this.

Do you have full access to Israeli intelligence?

Because I don't. There has been previous hospital strikes without their very own threads on here that have at later dates have been found to have killed senior members of Hamas. I'll link to a BBC thread below.

Israel target Hamas members wherever they can. International law allows for hospitals to become targets under certain conditions. Neither you nor I have access to full information.

It remains the case that had this Hamas nutjob surrendered along with his murder buddies at any time in the last months the war could have been over. And many people could still be with their loved ones.

No one here on these threads wants to see hospitals bombed. The balance comes in when considering why this war is still continuing.

I didn't see any misinformation from Twiglets? I haven't read every single post on this forum though... and that poster has always seemed reasonable to me, perhaps you should raise it with them rather than this tattle tale, we're all adults. 🙄

In any case, my call was for balance in viewing the situation in Israel / Palestine. I suppose its too much to ask for balance in posts on here.

Is "they had a suspicious camera" enough reason?

How is the destruction of a camera regardless of the loss of life, loss of infrastructure and risk of war crimes, balance?

International law specifically allows for hospitals to become legitimate military targets if acts deemed harmful to the enemy are being carried out in that hospital.

Neither you nor I know what was being done in that hospital that Israel deemed harmful to itself. A war crime may or may not have been commited.

Its also a war crime to conduct military activities amongst civilians with the intent to make those civilians targets. Hamas may or may not have commited this war crime here, again, neither you nor I know.

In any case, neither of these possible war crimes would have been commited had Hamas already surrendered and accepted terms.

A bit of balance would be very welcome here.

Both sides have and probably will continue to commit war crimes. Both sides can explain why they have acted but, in my option, neither side can justify their actions. They’re a crime for a reason. So I don’t think Hamas should hide out in hospitals and purposefully put civilians in harm way and I don’t think that tactic gives Israel a green card to target hospitals.
