It is so sickening that they continue to act with such impunity. The bombed the hospital killing four journalists and THEN struck a second time killing the rescue workers who were trying to retrieve the bodies of the dead and injured.

The genocide continues in plain sight.

An injured emergency worker is led away by two other emergency workers. There is rubble and wreckage behind them. He is badly hurt.

Four journalists among 15 killed in Israeli strike on hospital, Gaza officials say

The strikes on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis are said to have killed journalists working for international media.

Institute for Middle East Understanding doesn't sound very impartial @Everexpanding

IMEU takes a firmly negative view of Israel in general, and its website repeatedly refers to Israel’s “oppression” of and imposition of “apartheid” on Palestinians.

It's a lost case.

The majority of the British public will read news from our MSM media and see the truth for themselves.

Some will continue to believe the IDF lies. Maybe one day after the war they will see how they were duped.

That doesn't mean they accepted it! At this point they are still investigating the whole situation and have no reason to respond to Sky news who are anti Israel anyway.

Oh i have heard it all now. Sky news are anti - Israel🙄

Because they messed up. Why do you think Netanyahu called it a 'tragic mishap' after he found out Trump wasn't happy. And the IDF didnt comment on it for a few hours and then made a feeble excuse of a camera and we are going to look into it.

It's hardly a "feeble excuse" if Hamas militants were using the camera for surveillance purposes is it?

Twiglets1 · 28/08/2025 09:16

Kakeandkake · 28/08/2025 09:13

When Sky news presented the evidence to the IDF they didnt even deny it or try and prove why it was wrong. Some people on mumsnet are working much harder than the IDF here.

Kakeandkake · 28/08/2025 09:15

And now they are trying to justify it rather than accept that they colossally fucked up and carried out a war crime live on air.

That doesn't prove that it was not used from time to time by Hamas militants as per the intelligence received by the IDF.

Why would they target the camera if they didn't believe it was used for surveillance purposes by Hamas operatives? It's possible that their intelligence was wrong of course, but that's a different issue.

Wow @Twiglets1 really have to admire your stamina in trying to defend the indefensible, a double tap strike on a hospital is beyond defence.
Most news sources would be seen currently as more reliable than the idf, Israel has a decades long history of smearing the dead, and deliberately confusing the narrative around events for just long enough until they drop out of the news cycle, would you like me to list all the examples?
I am not sure if you and others on here are unwittingly or knowingly spreading Israeli misinformation to justify war crimes, and smear dead Palestinians either way not a good look

Oh for goodness sakes. The camera was live streaming when it was blown up!

There's no point arguing with this level of denial.

"In the article" is not evidence. It's what Reuters are saying but the IDF are saying the camera was used by Hamas militants. How do we know if the camera was used by Hamas militants or not? We don't.

There is evidence that the camera on the balcony was the reuters journalists camera. What are you talking about? It's in the article which is why I am telling you to read it.

So you accept there is no evidence re the camera or re the 6 Hamas militants getting killed.

You are choosing to believe Sky which is fair but then don't make such a drama out of other people choosing to believe different sources like the IDF.

Most of us are in the UK - we do not know the truth, we are choosing who to believe as what seems most plausible to us.

Ok, you carry on believing the IDF and Israeli channel 12 who are proven liars 👍

If i remember correctly Sky news journalists were also one of the first to uncover IDF lies when they murdered the medics and buried them and their ambulances.

Kakeandkake · 28/08/2025 09:04

Or are you going to continue presenting the IDF lies as facts on there? I don't think thats very honest or genuine. The least you should do is show the new evidence and admit you were maybe wrong and believing the IDF so readily.

There is none so blind as those who refuse to see.

One person from the 6 people the IDF listed as those killed from the strike was a combatant who was killed the day before elsewhere in Gaza.

The camera that the IDF called a 'Hamas camera' and used to justify the initial strike was the camera of the reuters journalists that was killed.

Evidence?

https://news.sky.com/story/un-told-israeli-strike-on-gaza-hospital-was-premeditated-as-sky-news-uncovers-new-details-about-the-attack-13418777

Evidence seems to be pointing to the 'camera' being one used to livestream by Reuters. Of the 6 individuals named as militants, 5 Sky couldn't find evidence of terrorist/militant/Hamas involvement, and the 6th, who did have connections to Hamas or similar, was killed the day before, not in this strike.

And people wonder why the IDF are considered unreliable with the truth...

The "truth" hasn't been proven either way.

You have just presented an alternative version from Sky news and are assuming that to be the truth because it's what you want to believe. How would Sky news know who is Hamas and who isn't?

Why should Sky news know more than the IDF? Especially since international journalists aren't even allowed into Gaza.
