Gazan GHF workers left to die at hospital where Doctors Without Borders is.

As stated by GHF spokesman Chapin Fay in the below interview with Channel 4 new presenter Krishnan Guru Murthy.

At 7.30 minutes in the video, Mr Fay stated 9 local workers were murdered and the 20 injured were refused treatment at Nasser hospital, where Doctors Without Borders were, and left to die in the courtyard.

These were Palestinians!

Why was there no outcry about this? It seems that they were refused treatment because they were working for GHF. That is shocking.

It was interesting that Mr Fay said GHF is funded by the US as well as several donor countries from Europe who don’t wish to be named.

The whole interview was an absolute car crash and the presenter was totally unprofessional and disgustingly rude IMO, sitting in a comfy newsroom while firing allegations at an organisation who’s workers are at massive risk, getting death threats, and are actually being killed for trying to get free (as it should be) aid to Palestinians and from the response from a lot them at the sites, they are needed.

I think it’s pretty obvious why there has been conflict outside of the aid centres TBH.

I commend Mr Fay on his patience I have to say.

I wonder if Guru Murthy will take up the offer to go into Gaza himself.

It’s obviously the same incident. Sounds like one of the injured died afterwards, making 9 deaths. 20 injured. Hopefully the others survived. He did say left for dead.

Even if Hamas threatened them at the time, why are doctors from MSF giving interviews after returning from Gaza after that time without saying anything about it?

Why has the UN not said anything about it?

So when did this happen then? Not the 11th of June. It must have been a different incident all together. Like I said so many questions and no answers at all.

The UN reported that 12 were killed and others injured. But like you say it was armed men in this story that prevented them from receiving medical treatment no Drs ignoring 20 seriously injured people in a courtyard of a hospital.

According to information received by the UN Human Rights office in the OPT, during the night of 11 June, a group of armed men attacked a bus carrying workers employed by a local contracting company acting on behalf of the GHF in northwestern Khan Younis. The armed men stripped and beat the workers and shot some of them. Subsequently, they held the workers in their custody in Khan Younis, and allegedly further tortured them and prevented medical treatment. In total, 12 Palestinians were reportedly killed, and others were injured. Such killings would amount to war crimes and violations of the right to life.

I'd like to understand the details of what happened, wouldn't you? It's a really serious allegation, one that doesn't appear to be reported on by anyone anywhere else. I'm sure the person who dropped them off at the hospital must have documented the whole thing, it's so incredibly shocking that 20 people, everyone of them having injuries that led to their deaths were left for what must have been hours and hours with no help from any one at all.

Why has no one been informed of this? The UN seem to have been given a completely different story? Who gave this story to them? If GHF are so desperate to work with the UN why are they withholding this information from them?

Over what period of time did this happen? Where were the GHF when this was happening to their employees? Surely they didn't just dump them all off the bus and bugger off? When it became clear that they werent being treated they were all just left there to die by their employers? So many unanswered questions a lot like the unanswered questions about their funding and employees.

I'm looking forward to the GHF presenting their evidence as requested because what the crisis management professional said in that interview about this incident left more questions than it answered.

I am gobsmacked that those Palestinian aid workers were refused treatment by an international humanitarian organisation as per Mr Fay’s statement. I remember reading that 9 were killed but not that 20 survivors were left to die at a hospital after being refused treatment.

You can understand it a bit if they were threatened by Hamas while in Gaza but some of their doctors have given interviews outside of Gaza where they have not mentioned Hamas at all and only made allegations against Israel!

All the journalists agitating about how awful it is that journalists aren't allowed into Gaza ...probably don't want to go to Gaza themselves. For very good reasons that it's an extremely dangerous place.
