A mild, late, spineless stand. But a stand. It makes me wonder how much longer this can go on before governments realise people are fed up of this.

No Israeli sports teams have been banned which is fair. Maybe sport is making a political statment in Israel's inclusion?

Anyway Israel haven't been banned from any football competitions which is a good thing as I don't like port getting to involved with politics.

I suppose that message stands about October 7th and the rockets Hamas fire towards Israel. As long as it's a message aimed at both warring parties it stands.

Too little too late from UEFA, they don't even have the balls to say who's killing these children and civilians. Honestly, fuck them, they can stick this miniscule gesture where the sun doesn't sign.

I've always held Liverpool the club on high regard, they didn't fold like Arsenal did (Arsenal sacked a Kit Man for supporting Palestine).

You still can't buy the Sun newspaper in Liverpool today 35+ years after Hillsborough, this is old school sticking to a moral compass and admirable.

Thought this was so sad when I read this about Suleiman who was killed while looking for food .

"His wife said the ordeal of joining the queues for food handouts was humiliating for Suleiman, given his past as a celebrated sportsman in Palestine.

“He was ashamed to go there. He even wore a cap to hide his face so no one would recognise him,” Doaa said."

It's easy to forget the emotional and mental trauma.

Heartbreaking. Absolutely heartbreaking. There just aren’t the words anymore.

Very proud to be a Liverpool fan when he posted that. It’s shameful. All talk, but they won’t kick Israel out
