Hamas started this war, then hides among civilians and children as a tactic to save themselves and refuses to surrender. It wants the death of Palestinian children to create outrage at Israel.
The IDF has taken more steps to avoid civilian casualties than any other army in history.

Imagine if the death toll if they hadn’t with Hamas’s documented use of human shields, which is also unprecedented for any government, especially one which started a war they knew they could not win so it’s own citizens and their children could be used in this way.
