I don’t think they do.

There are so many people who don’t seem to understand the complexities and ramifications of the situation. They opt for a binary view of the region and conflicts, viewed through a comfortable, western lens.

They see Israel as a western country (Jews are all European, right?) so demand it behaves in the same way western countries do. They happily ignore that it is culturally different to us and is surrounded by countries with a massively different culture who basically want to annihilate it. Our governments are issuing platitudes about two state solutions and restraint and ‘both sides’ while they’re over there stopping the rockets and the suicide bombers.

I think underneath all the complaints about Israel is the fact that some people just don’t think Israel should exist because Jews aren’t special and don’t need their own country because they’re not even from there. They don’t have a problem with 50 French kids being thrown off a plane because they were Jews and we all know what they’re like, right. But don’t you dare say it’s anti-Semitism because it’s not. You can’t criticise that Netanyahu or his awful government without being accused of it these days. Just typical of them. Always lying…

You may like to follow your own advice re doing some reflecting about why you feel the need to attack strangers online by questioning their morals when you know nothing about them.

The “involved in 9/11” comments are being purposely obtuse.
There is absolutely no link to this man and 9/11 in terms of the attack.
He trained two random men assigned to him by others as part of his career.

People are purposely trying to suggest he recruited these two men and trained them on his own as part of their 9/11 preparations.
