50 Jewish children kicked off plane, female supervisor allegedly beaten to the ground and handcuffed!

Another shocking act of global antisemitism.

50 French Jewish kids aged 10-15 apparently attended a summer camp in Spain.

On the flight back to France, before takeoff while plane still on tarmac, they were accused of being rowdy and singing ‘Death to Arabs’ in Hebrew (no evidence they were saying that). Police were called, they were told to get off and their 21 year old female supervisor ended up being beaten to the ground and forcibly handcuffed.

According to witnesses on the plane, the children stopped singing when asked and were well behaved, and nothing was amiss. The crew made a tannoy announcement that there were security concerns and police entered the plane and told the kids to get off. The female supervisor was ordered to make the kids hand over their phones so footage of them being removed from the plane could be deleted and she was beaten to the ground and handcuffed when she refused. The Captain allegedly said Israel was a terrorist state.

She later had to sign an NDA to be released.

The Captain has been identified as being a flying instructor for two of the 9/11 plane hijackers.

Everyone needs to post links. Because there’s a lot of ‘apparently’ and ‘reports’. I suspect the truth is in the middle somewhere.

Snopes are doing some compiling:

Police removed dozens of Jewish kids from plane in Spain. Here's context

The airline that operated the flight claimed the teenagers were being unruly. The Jewish summer camp denied this, saying it was discrimination.

Quoting myself, because my initial reaction was that this did seem to be about the kids' behavior but that is looking less and less to be the case.

Think there are at least 3 or 4 witnesses now (3 have apparently signed affidavits), not connected with the group, who confirm that the kids were not in any way misbehaving, nor were any songs being sung.

I think everyone would do well to wait before jumping to conclusions but my needle has swung from pointing towards "removed for bad behavior" towards "victims of antisemitism", for now.

Some people also say that about the other airport incident with the police. They claim nobody but the police acted inappropriately.

so is it they cannot have been saying ir or the Spanish surely can’t have understood ir? Anyway have tou read the articles which states all the other things they did or are you going to back them regardless because oh the poor Jewish kids being treated unfairly never mind the starving children..! As long as your conscience can handle it

So according to your wickedness, all and any abuse of people is currently allowed because children in Gaza are starving?

But children somewhere in the world are always starving .
I hope that you do not wake up thinking that you are the moral abuser of anything or even close to being a good somebody.
And to think that you walk amongst decent people ........

It is very much ok for kids who are shouting ‘death to Arabs’ to be kicked off a plane. It is irrelevant that they stopped when asked, or that they are Jewish.

People making death threats on planes need to be removed, whatever age they are.

The stories are not straight. It is alleged that fifty odd French children were singing " death to Arabs" in Hebrew.
Hebrew is not a commonly spoken or understood language.
Then it is alleged that these kids were tampering with plane equipment.
So why are YOU so sure of something that is not only alleged, but not even a consistent allegation as to why this group was kicked off the plane?
And why were their phones taken/ attempted and why was the group leader forced to sign an NDA for release if her arrest was valid and ethical?

While I'm willing to keep an open mind, the removal doesn't seem to have been antisemetic (though Spain's transport minister's response certainly was).

I see no comments on the young Jewish woman being beaten to the ground and aggressively handcuffed.

What evidence has the airline provided to justify that treatment?

Your posts have got worse as the day has gone on OP. So you think these teens should be allowed to put other people in danger, likely including other children and be openly racist?

The airline didn’t say they made racist comments on their statement.

There seems to be a difference in opinion of what happened on board.

Interesting to see what evidence the airline provides for that.

OP, you’ve not answered why you think a large group of people chanting “death to Arabs” and messing with safety equipment should be allowed to stay on a flight?

There is no evidence they were chanting death to Arabs.

Even the airline didn’t say that!

They were French kids. Why do you think they were waving Israeli flags?

Post the links to these videos,

Apologies I have asked for my post to be taken down..I did a deep dive into the videos using Chat GPt on the images and I can't be sure of the accuracy completely.

Your first paragraph was presumably unintentionally ironic in relation to this conflict?

op it is posts like yours that reduce the conflict to rants from extremists on either side with knee jerk reactions and limited concept of widening their view.

The young people were escorted off their flight for safety reasons of the other passengers.

the pilot trained the 9/11 bombers??? I mean COME ON

Hebrew is a modern language made up by Israel,

And there we have it - casual anti-semitism

Is that not true?

Do you think this would always be adhered to by everyone? I think the chances of it not being adhered to if you don't have to go through normal red tape for funding and things rises substantially.

True but I doubt they would be so far away from the guidelines . For example the requirement would be 5 adults here . I can see how someone may think they can get away with 4 instead of 5 but to go from 5 to 1 is inconceivable . As a volunteer who works with young children I can’t even begin to comprehend that anyone with a rational mind would think 1 adult can look after 50 children and to me is a huge safeguarding issue .

Antisemitism seems to have acquired a much broader definition nowadays.

Opposing starvation? Antisemitic.
Anti racist? Antisemetic.
Irish? Antisemetic.
Removing a large group of passengers, compromising the safety of a flight? Antisemitic.
Reporting facts? Antisemetic.
Criticising Netenyahu? Antisemitic.

Every day is a learning day for the expansion of language.

Its a disgusting tactic to shut people up that reduces Antisemitic to an Internet slur, rather than the serious, hateful, dangerous prejudice it is.Angry

100% this.

I doubt this is correct. In the article it says the children were left with their counsellors who I’m guessing are other supervising adults. In this country the ratio is one adult per ten 13-18 year olds and these children are younger

Do you think this would always be adhered to by everyone? I think the chances of it not being adhered to if you don't have to go through normal red tape for funding and things rises substantially.

I was once on the train coming back from Antwerp and there was a similarly rowdy group of young British Jewish boys on the train. A lot of people complained and the adults in charge seemed at a complete loss and/or believed the passengers were overreacting. There were vast cultural differences in how children were expected to behave. These boys were between about 8 and 12, I'd say and literally running around the place. It started from Antwerp station and continued all the way to King's Cross.
