50 Jewish children kicked off plane, female supervisor allegedly beaten to the ground and handcuffed!

Another shocking act of global antisemitism.

50 French Jewish kids aged 10-15 apparently attended a summer camp in Spain.

On the flight back to France, before takeoff while plane still on tarmac, they were accused of being rowdy and singing ‘Death to Arabs’ in Hebrew (no evidence they were saying that). Police were called, they were told to get off and their 21 year old female supervisor ended up being beaten to the ground and forcibly handcuffed.

According to witnesses on the plane, the children stopped singing when asked and were well behaved, and nothing was amiss. The crew made a tannoy announcement that there were security concerns and police entered the plane and told the kids to get off. The female supervisor was ordered to make the kids hand over their phones so footage of them being removed from the plane could be deleted and she was beaten to the ground and handcuffed when she refused. The Captain allegedly said Israel was a terrorist state.

She later had to sign an NDA to be released.

The Captain has been identified as being a flying instructor for two of the 9/11 plane hijackers.

The airline is to blame for 50 children singing “death to arabs”???

Where are you reading or seeing this is what the singing was?

Cornettoninja · 26/07/2025 09:19

People are repeating it because they WANT it to be true.
They WANT the Jewish children to be viewed as the guilty party here

concurrently, people seem to WANT it to be true that the teenagers were kicked off due to their religion and not just for being louts.

We don’t have the full information yet

quite. Bit early for accusations of antisemitism and airline staff to be accused of guilt by association then wouldn’t you agree?

concurrently, people seem to WANT it to be true that the teenagers were kicked off due to their religion and not just for being louts.

No - you are being disingenuous.
People are rightly concerned that the full facts are properly investigated.

The words of the Spanish minister calling the French Jewish children “Israeli brats” are very concerning- it suggests he has automatically equated all Jews with Israel

Cornettoninja · 26/07/2025 09:35

OpheliaWasntMad · 26/07/2025 09:27

I don’t think posters on here should be repeating the accusations “death to Arabs” etc as if it is an established fact.

It is a fact that the statement “Israeli brats” was made by the Spanish minister. Regardless of what happened- that statement appears antisemitic to me.

I don’t disagree but that’s a separate incident isn’t it ? It has nothing to do with why the group of teenagers were removed from the flight.

I don’t see the value in conflating the two incidences in this discussion in particular. It’s perfectly possible the teenagers were being rowdy and disruptive and the minister is antisemitic. Only one event influenced the other.

summerskyblue · 26/07/2025 09:34

A 21 year old in charge of 50 kids on her own?

That was always going to be a disaster and it was totally irresponsible to start with.

It just sounds to me like th crew had safety concerns that the kids were rowdy and bothering other passengers and that their carer could not handle them.

They made the sensible decision to ask them to leave before taking off.

Then it seems some people with agenda got involved and are trying to claim they were targeted just because they were Jewish which frankly just sounds like nonsense and trying to curry some sympathy while the world is now seeing the true horror of children starving to death in Gaza...

The crew's priority is the safety of the aircraft and of all passengers. Not political games.

This is the sort of post that is very problematic.
You are repeating something as if it is a proven fact. Why?

You don’t want to consider the possibility that the children are innocent? Why is that? Is it because you agree with the Spanish minister that they are “Israeli brats” and you don’t need the facts of the case?

Woah, you’re putting a lot of words in my mouth.

It has been reported multiple times that that was chanted, and that the children were being disruptive and interfering with safety equipment. Why are you so determined to not believe that?

Agree with this. I just read the official statement from the airline again and it doesn’t mention “death to Arabs” or any type of racist chanting at all.
Why are people repeating it as if it were a proven fact?

Evidence hasn't been the strongest focus to date; I don't see why some posters would start asking for it now. Interesting that the footage hasn't made it to social media. You see so many plane experiences being circulated.

MrsGuyOfGisbo · 26/07/2025 09:25

If they had been singing anti-Semitic songs in Arabic, you can bet they wouldn’t have been turned off the plane.
And would have been described as French.

@MyDearEagle is right.
We don’t have the full information yet so people jumping to assume the children were “brats” might need to ask themselves some questions about why they were so quick to decide who was telling the truth.

Would be odd if that was OP’s intention, seeing as she is the one focussed on it and keeps bringing it up…?

Spain’s Minister of Transportation referred to the kids as ‘Israeli brats’ while defending the airline.

https://x.com/HenMazzig/status/1948806234355720680

Whatever the truth of the incident ( hopefully it will emerge)
Spains Minister of Transportation should be condemned. His remarks, about French Jewish children seem antisemitic to me. Why call them Israeli? Why draw attention to their Jewishness if it was not relevant to their eviction from the plane? Why did he not call them “French children”

The airline did not state that any chants of ‘death to Arabs’ or similar racist comments were made, in their statement after the incident. Nor did any passenger witnesses.

Explain that?

This is the account alleged to have spread this accusation with no evidence to back it up. No surprises there.

The point of what chants were being sung is irrelevant since the airline haven’t included it as part of their reasoning for kicking the teenagers off and it’s being denied that they were sung.

you’re getting you knickers in a twist over songs that have been denied as sung when there are no formal accusations in the first place.

inamarina · 26/07/2025 08:56

EasyTouch · 26/07/2025 01:44

The stories are not straight. It is alleged that fifty odd French children were singing " death to Arabs" in Hebrew.
Hebrew is not a commonly spoken or understood language.
Then it is alleged that these kids were tampering with plane equipment.
So why are YOU so sure of something that is not only alleged, but not even a consistent allegation as to why this group was kicked off the plane?
And why were their phones taken/ attempted and why was the group leader forced to sign an NDA for release if her arrest was valid and ethical?

Agree with this. I just read the official statement from the airline again and it doesn’t mention “death to Arabs” or any type of racist chanting at all.

Dangermoo · 26/07/2025 08:35

So according to your wickedness, all and any abuse of people is currently allowed because children in Gaza are starving?

But children somewhere in the world are always starving .
I hope that you do not wake up thinking that you are the moral abuser of anything or even close to being a good somebody.
And to think that you walk amongst decent people ........

Yes, it's OK to state that antisemitism is accused at every turn. However, it's perfectly fine to raise the issue of starving gazan children, every time Jews are discussed. Moreover, the alleged death to Arab chants seem to be getting much more focus than the weekly death to Jews chants. I suppose the prejudice is hard to disguise when one is so intent on calling Israel a terrorist state. As soon as I see that, I know what other rhetoric is to follow.

CopperWhite · 26/07/2025 08:17

Anonimummy · 26/07/2025 00:39

There is no evidence they were chanting death to Arabs.

Even the airline didn’t say that!

The airline says they were compromising safety so why isn’t that enough for you regardless of what they may or may not have been chanting?

Your are focussed entirely on the wrong things here OP.

Why should the airline have to explain to you why the woman was arrested? They are an airline, not the police, and it is the police who make the decisions about who to arrest. Maybe this women was resisting the instruction to leave the plane, or was shouting and being rude because she was upset that her charges were out of control. We don’t know, but I’m more than happy for the police and airlines to take every necessary precaution when it comes to safety, and for obvious reasons the standard needs to be much higher in the air than it does on land.

Your first paragraph was presumably unintentionally ironic in relation to this conflict?

You might find this helpful, so that you know the full story. Please do read to the end of the paragraph.

TLDR? The pilot trained the 9/11 terrorists. He didn't of course know they had evil intentions but he did say they were "poor, aggressive students and expelled them after an incident".

Let's get the story straight before this poor man is hounded to death.

That’s the feeling, isn’t it - if you criticise anything we do it’s antisemitism. And the irony is, that’s what starts the seed growing…resentment around seeming imperviousness to anything.

So you have no problem with 50 Jewish children between 10-15 singing ‘ death to Arabs ‘ 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️
taking them off the plane was 109% the right thing to do. There’s no way passengers especially Arabs would have felt safe on that plane and the same if it was the other way around. If it was 50 Arab kids singing death to Israelis I’m sure you will agree they should be taken off. Do you really think this is antisemitic or does antisemitism now mean that Jews should be allowed to do anything they want including breaking the law and stopping them is antisemitism. The sense of entitlement is horrifying

I think most people are ignorant about the depth of ordinary casual anti-Semitism and Jew hatred. It’s at the foundation of all European and Middle Eastern cultures.

I swear that White Europeans are given something to conveniently " forget" any collective " uncomfortable" parts of their history every twenty years...leading to large cognitive dissonance as to their foundation and real place in the world.

Especially the Brits and among them, especially the English.

Continental Europeans are just far more direct with their likes and dislikes and do not partake of angry politesse that is the British/English way.

Hence many on this thread not being able to relate to the possibility of this story happening from the French tourists' point of view.

Even as a few of them can barely disguise their glee at discovering a prism through which to release their apparently long festering " problematic" trains of thought, glad to be able to throw off the self imposed shackles of " public tolerance of ALL".......
