Even if we cant get to nub of this story yet, we can pretty confidently say thats a lie - why keep repeating it?

So from the responses, posters on here would be OK with 50 French Arab Muslim children, who have nothing to do with the Palestinians, being forcibly kicked off a plane by Spanish armed police for saying something in Arabic, and their young female supervisor being beaten to the ground and forcibly put into handcuffs because she refused to hand over the kids phones, because of what Hamas did on Oct 7th?

You also wouldn’t believe the children or witnesses that they weren’t being disruptive, despite there being no evidence that they were?

I wonder how many answers I’ll get to that……….

Whether or not the children deserved to be evicted from the plane - it is clear there are posters on here who would condemn them purely on any flimsy connection to Israel

The crew will be under scrutiny for any decision like this: the airline will not want delays. They will have wanted to get on with their job, it's so unlikely they'd be so motivated by antisemitism that they would all decide to put their jobs at risk and cause themselves massive stress.

The kids have every reason to lie and downplay their actions. And if it was a group of 50 with one adult, it could have just been a few of them tampering with equipment- leaving most of the group and witnesses being none the wiser.

44 minor children, 3 adult aged campers, the camp leader and 4 counselors. It wasn't one 21 year in charge of 50 kids. That sounds like perfectly adequate ratios for those age groups to me. Airlines presumably take bookings like that all the time.

I found this and it seems to be contradictory. Why get them to hide their religious and cultural identity and then allow them to sing Hebrew songs (note, the comment about the singing was made by Amichai Chikli, Israel’s Minister of Diaspora and Combating Antisemitism - so presumably a credible source)?

They could have been understandably worried about being subject to antisemitic attention, hence hiding their identities. But why out themselves by singing in Hebrew? And why sing at all in public? Imagine 50 British kids singing. No one wants to hear that in a public place.
