I typed about 3 responses to this slogan salad then just gave up.
So bored of people telling me I need to 'find my humanity' and that my silence and tax 'makes me complicit'.

Its a parenting website ffs. No of course we dont think its OK to kill children.

No depth of thought at all to these kind of comments.

No one thinks it’s “ok to kill children”

It’s not a case of lacking humanity it’s that some people hold Hamas ultimately responsible & some hold the IDF responsible.

It’s never ok to kill children which is why we shouldn’t have wars.

They basically want to try and shame us for not supporting terrorism.

They don’t want to hold Hamas to account for not surrendering a war they had no hope of winning while hiding behind their own civilians and using them as cannon fodder, despite Hamas leaders being quite open that is what they are doing.

Has there ever been a war where the aggressor has invaded, slaughtered, tortured and injured thousands, gang raped women, taken hundreds of hostages, (after decades of smaller attacks) refused to surrender (while still holding hostages) and has vowed to attack again and again, and the other side has been pressured to withdraw leaving them in power to do just that?

I have been here for a few days - I had a few days of work recuperating from an op but I do need to go back to the day job now, and being ADHD (or at least in my own head) I do tend to get completely obsessed with anything I am interested in, so Mumsnet, like gambling, aren't luxuries I usually afford myself.

As I have had lots of interesting chats with a lot of very well informed people, I wanted to say bye bye and thanks for that!

It was so utterly predictable that you would love Corbyn.

I don't mean that in a bad way. I think you're idealistic and out of touch with reality but in a well - meaning way.

I agree that you bring some light hearted moments to these threads which are very welcome.
