Im not interested in engaging with you personally as you have admitted directly and indirectly to having prejudiced views about Israelis and Jews and no empathy for them. I am interested in your spreading of misinformation though, not for your benefit but for the benefit of others reading. I note you don't wish to engage with me or others to correct that misinformation. That's your right, of course.

What proof are you looking for? Are the words of Abbas himself not enough?

How about you provide evidence the payments stopped? Seeing as you're the one making the claim.

As if they were going to stop! The PA would be facing riots and worse if that happened!

Of course they have to hide it as it was becoming more widely known after focus on region due to Oct 7th. Not good PR is it and certainly doesn’t hold up to scrutiny that the ‘moderate’ PA want peace with Israel.

In February 2025, Abbas signed a decree to restructure the payments under a new name. The same families are still receiving the same amounts, just via a new mechanism.

How can you prove this? Do you have access to the information of how much each Palestinian is paid and whether it has changed or not?

In February, PA President Mahmoud Abbas signed a decree canceling legislation that established the old system, which included payments to the families of slain terrorists and the families of security prisoners held in Israeli jails, based on the length of their sentence.
The decree also established a new non-governmental body that was tasked with providing welfare payments strictly based on economic need.
