I do wonder if Trump is angling to persuade Netanyahu to end the war, with dangling a carrot on wiping off the corruption charges. How much sway the US has in that, I don't know. That's what my common sense looks like.

Corruption charges, I might buy but not genocide. If he is guilty of corruption, then he's made his own bed. I find the whole genocide saga has been made into a circus. Not, of course, the outcome of civilians killed, but it's a lynch mob frenzy, which devalues real genocide.

Doubt Israelis would agree with you. Why is letting politicians away on corruption charges common sense? They are elected officials there to serve their electorate. They're not Gods. I expect more, much more from my tax dollars
