This is just unbelievable. These ‘protesters’ are being given free rein to threaten and assault pro-Israelis (Jewish) because ‘there’s 500 of them and 2 of you’.

Police not interested in doing their job, which is upholding the law I thought?

Just sickening that this country has come to this.

Yes, most people don’t support terrorist activities, agree. Be it car bombings, pager explosions, etc.
Paint on planes is not terrorism.

You’re at odds with the law and fortunately that’s what counts.

I don’t think people care about these ‘Hasbara’ slurs I see on here.

They don’t support the recent terrorist activity over whatever this is meant to represent though.

And what will I find in the history books that doesn’t say Arabs are not the ones who have instigated conflict more than the Jewish?

You will find a better understanding of the conflict which is incredibly complex and cannot be reduced to one side being the good guys and the other side being the baddies.

That is ridiculous, a lot of innocent British people were killed by terrorism by the IRA yet London has one of the biggest saint patricks day parades in the world with thousands of irish flags and people are not triggered because anyone with any level of critical thinking will realise that the actions of one group doesn't reflect the views of an entire nation. There were no Palestinians even involved in the Manchester bombing.... is your problem the fact that they palestine is a largely Muslim country and you think all Muslims are terrorists?

Is it? Have you not lost a relative to a terror attack?
I purposefully didn’t mention the IRA because the older generation on both sides have endured losses. Losses we still haven’t got the full answer to after all these years.
You are also missing or refusing to acknowledge that the terrorist was Islamic the same as Hamas.
Terrorist attacks on British soil should not be tolerated. If you think Brize Norton was merely just a new paint job you are mistaken.

If something speaks volumes to you, why should I add anything?
I answered all relevant questions. What else do you want?
Hasbara is losing its grip on the population, I believe it is now irreversible (for people’s opinions, the government actions will continue for some time against the public view).

If you can’t understand how the pro Palestine movement of today would trigger the victims of terror attacks you are obviously hard as nails or haven’t lost a relative to terrorism

Why would a pro Palestinian movement trigger families in the UK who were victims of an attack carried out in the UK by someone who has been radicalised by the Syrian war?

You’re going to have to explain that one, there’s no logical connection whatsoever.

I didn't say the answer should be assault. I said well done to the police for moving the agitators on. You wouldn't support the police in doing that though? You think people should be able to stand in a crowd of pro Israel people and shout fuck you at them while waving a Palestinian flag. That's fine if that's what you believe. Personally I don't think that that is an appropriate way to behave and I'm glad the police moved the Israelis on.

The people holding flags asked the police if they would address the people who attacked them. They offered to point them out.

They weren’t ‘agitators’ anymore than others with a flag, just in the minority.

The police said no there’s too many of them to keep you safe. We can’t deal with it.

In that case there’s something going wrong. We should have system where the people attacking are accountable not those who happen to be there.

izthiszeend · 25/06/2025 14:57

Madcatdudette · 25/06/2025 14:54

You don’t have to obviously. Your inability to answer speaks volumes 😏
Am I at work? Lol, what was your sentiment with that statement?

Lol

RoseRR · 25/06/2025 14:57

Iscumaliom · 25/06/2025 14:52

There is no connection at all with Palestine and the Manchester attack. I think that poster must be confused.

A lot of people are confused, because you know they are all Muslims innit…

izthiszeend · 25/06/2025 14:56

Iscumaliom · 25/06/2025 14:53

So you would support someone going into the middle of a pro Israel march and shouting fuck you at people?

This would be antisemitic

Iscumaliom · 25/06/2025 14:56

EasternStandard · 25/06/2025 14:54

I don’t think the answer should be assault no. Why should it be?

Do you think it’s ok sometimes?

Okay. You are either very insular or young.
Corbyn has been Pro Palestine for years. And yes, I’ve been at these events.
Look back at supposed international law, you’ll find lots of countries gave been guilty of non compliance at some point.

I guess insular, by your definition. I was not aware Corbyn was in government. Sorry, my utter ignorance.

so, when exactly did his government recognise Palestine?
you see, any person in power saying “we support the two state solution” when legally in 77 years they have not bothered to recognise the second state is an utter hypocrite.

Iscumaliom · 25/06/2025 14:53

EasternStandard · 25/06/2025 14:49

Holding a flag. I don’t believe it’s illegal whereas assault is.

The thing is pro Palestinian marches just look aggressive and thuggish as a result.

RoseRR · 25/06/2025 14:52

Madcatdudette · 25/06/2025 14:42

Yep, I’m aware it has been going on for decades.
I know that for many British people it wasn’t on the radar until 7/10
I know that some people have looked at the history books and come down on which side they sympathise with.
Israel have continually said that a ceasefire is an option if Hamas release the hostages. They haven’t 🤷‍♀️
Granted, it’s a very basic illustration but that’s what you’re dealing with when you want to convey support for a terrorist government.

Yes too basic. Go back to the history books.

Eolhc1990 · 25/06/2025 14:46

Am i missing something? Why would the Palestinian flag trigger victims of the Manchester attacks?
Palestinian does not equal Hamas in the same way Irish does not equal IRA.... the large majority of people affected by the genocide in gaza are innocent children. People can protest against the murder of children while still being against hamas.

There is no connection at all with Palestine and the Manchester attack. I think that poster must be confused.

Gaza didn’t have western support before hamas.
The UK’s successive governments are happy with the ruining the system of international laws. A day will come when we as a medium country would want to rely on the international laws as our protection, but it might be too late.

Okay. You are either very insular or young.

So they just happened to be walking through a Pro Palestine march minding their own business waving a flag?

And yes I don't see a difference between targeting a vigil where you know grieving people might be and targeting a march where you know grieving families might be. The end result is the same isn't it?
