You do know that Iran has many more than the 3 Nuclear sites targeted? That if the sites had been destroyed we would be seeing an increase in radiation? Thankfully the uranium was moved saving 10s of thousands of lives.

Still waiting but it's looking like bravado. Think back to America having to negotiate with the Houthis for a ceasefire in the Red Sea recently (after losing 2 F18 planes due to having to quickly manoeuvre to avoid incoming rockets and several drones).

Agree, Iran's foreign secretary was in Europe yesterday (20th June) to meet with the UK, French and other European representatives to discuss negotiations. That was a concession by Iran who have mainly refused to talk to America.

Ironically, UK MP David Lammy said after the meeting that "Iran could avoid a US strike".

All Trump has done is likely guarantee Iran will withdraw from the Nuclear Non proliferation Treaty as early as Monday. Also many other countries will begin developing or obtain nukes.

So far Iran has targeted Israel in it's response and the damage is extensive.

It’s all very worrying and I’m struggling to see a best case scenario. Trump seems to be backing the Iranians into a corner with the speech too. Surely a better approach to resolving this with diplomacy and negotiation is to allow everyone to save face.

Also a worry that he bombed Iran when the majority of the US population was against it.

The Telegraph: Donald Trump has threatened to launch further strikes on Iran if it does not immediately make peace.

“Future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier,” the US president said in an address to the nation following the US attack on three of the country’s nuclear sites.

He added: “There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran, far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days. Remember there are many targets left.”

Earlier, Mr Trump said the US had attacked Iran’s enrichment sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

He called the attacks a “spectacular success” and said Iran’s nuclear programme had been “completely and totally obliterated”.

I hope so, too. This is going to affect future negotiations with the US forever, though. Noone is going to trust America again after this. Their officials have lied far to many times and far too many negotiations have been proven to be fake. Geez, Trump is such a bastard!

Looks like Trump avoided using allies assets, so no risk right now. Targets would not be civilians only military .

A nuclear armed Iran is as much threat to the world as the currently nuclear armed Israel. At least Iran does not have a stated policy of the Samson Option as Israel does.

I've had this strange feeling since Ukraine attacked Russia's nuclear capable planes a few weeks ago (a move that entitled Putin to respond with nukes).

Iran's main news channel just reported that all 3 nuclear sites were cleared months ago, so small mercies.

Depending on the damage Iran will have to respond as it's an act of war. It's allies in Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen are on standby but won't move unless Iran is in mortal danger.
