I'm talking about the territories that Israel seized from its neighbours after victory in the 1967 war, Gaza the West Bank and Golan.

They were literally called the Occupied Territories.

But those Arab states only fought Israel because it was brought into being in the first place, by external colonial powers and in the wake of the Holocaust

And the Holocaust was able to happen because the Nazis capitalised on Germany's defeat and punitive treatment in the First World War....

Don't you get it? War leads to war, it is not a permanent solution to anything, unless you are willing to destroy your adversary completely which means killing an astronomical number of innocent people.

Can you explain how wanting a de escalation of violence and a negotiated solution is not supporting Israel? Why would wanting bombs and missiles to be fired be supporting Israel?

There are some really weird people in the UK, but because of our freedoms which the countries they support don’t have that can do what they like!

Because the hatred for Israel is so virulent in the West that people are willing to back Iran - a murderous Islamofascist dictatorship which is anti-LGBTQ and anti-women - rather than support it.

The only incident I know of similar to that is the one at Brize Norton a couple of days back
..if that'd what is being referred to the two aircraft that were damaged:

1. Were military...a version of the A330 airliner.

1. Can carry cargo and passengers (so have been used to carry aid and also useful for evacuating people.

1. Can do air to air refuelling but FWIW the system used for that function is not compatible at all with the system used by the Israeli's or the US Air Force.

Are they the ones on the RAF base? where did you see that were flying aid? . I only read on Sky News they were military planes Puma helicopters and RAF Typhoons. Maybe you were talking about a different incident.

I have been called absolutely disgusting things on a previous thread for staying facts and when I called it out asking for the evidence for the three different accusations (multiple times), only two popped their heads up: one to claim they weren't actually speaking about me and the other started accusing me of stating something I had never even mentioned.

I have empathy for innocent Palestinians being killed. Mainly, because they are being discarded by their own people, who do not value their lives. I have no sympathy for those who back Hamas. I feel the same way about Iranian civilians, who live under a vile regime. It's not Israel bad, Palestine good. It is the ability to base my opinion on history, which goes way, way further back than 1948.

Were it not for the depraved actions of Hamas, we wouldn't be here talking about it, would we. I'm not sure what's hard to understand about that. Where were all you saviours before 7/10 if you felt that strongly about the situation in the region? I won't embarrass you by expecting you to give me a reasoned answer.
