European Commission President days Iran shouldn't have nuclear weapons. Israel has right to defend itself

Iran was not in the table for talks. The only reason they want to talk now is because Israel have already got air superiority.
Their dream of inflicting a genocide on Israel has been crushed. If they concede now, perhaps they can hang onto power.
At least Iran has the sense to ask for talks, unlike their proxy Hamas who have cost the lives of thousands of Gazans, by hiding in amongst them, and about 25,000 of their own members, such is their hatred of Israel.

Iran is not the one that has destabilised the whole region by murdering tens of thousands in the last year and tracking virtually every neighbour it has, whilst also undertaking ethnic cleansing of Gaza and Palestinians and doing blatant land grab and firing at international diplomats. Iran was on the table for talks till Netenyahu showed his true murderous nature with the backing of Trump.

It hasn't been proven that Iran actually have a nuclear weapon and the whole thing sounds like when we bombed Iraq for having "weapons of mass destruction". (The weapons that never existed) Call me cynical but I'm starting to wonder whether this is just more of the same

In a confidential report seen by the BBC, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said Iran now possesses over 400kg of uranium enriched to 60% purity - well above the level used for civilian purposes and close to weapons grade, and a near 50% increase in three months.
It is enough for about 10 nuclear weapons if further refined, making Iran the only non nuclear-armed state producing uranium at this level.

Ditto Palestine. And Lebanon and everyone else that Israel keeps bombing in the name of "self defence." Who decided that Israel was morally superior than everyone else? You can condemn Oct 7th and also condemn what the Israeli gov is doing. Two things can be true at once. I personally believe that the Israeli gov are hypocrites and that their leadership has lost sight of the hostages in pursuit of more power.

BN has been looking for an excuse to attack Iran for decades. It hasn't been proven that Iran actually have a nuclear weapon and the whole thing sounds like when we bombed Iraq for having "weapons of mass destruction". What are the chances that in 20 years time there will be an enquiry that discovers there weren't actually any nuclear weapons?

As for getting rid of their leadership - we should know better - power vacuums are never good, maybe it is better to stick with the devil you know..

Most lesbians I know can't be arsed with the politics of Pride events anymore and being accused of discrimination or a phobia against one group or another.

We seem to have come full circle in history where "bulk standard / regular/ run of the mill, normal lesbians" don't feel comfortable going to a Pride event because they are "just" lesbians.

It leads to the same outcome doesn't it? Iran thinking they didn't have to comply with their nuclear non-proliferation obligations because no one was showing them that they did.

Do they? I'm yet to see one. Many are concerned about the innocent civilians caught up in this and whether the most effective approach is being followed, but that's not the same as supporting the Iranian regime is it?

Iran leadership is like a middle American doomsday cult. They are despotic and willing to inflict any harm on any population including their own.

Isreal’s leadership is not far behind them in terms of the harm they are willing to commit but they limit atrocities to populations outside of their own which is the only difference I can see between them, democracies don’t commit genocide.
