I think the only way to stop this cheating is to stop the public vote.
Its a great shame of course but things could go on like this a very long time as people continue with this as some way of trying to prove the world supports the war and the Israeli Governments actions.

It's not up to me to prove random stuff you come up with is untrue! If you want to be taken seriously, the onus is on you to back up your own claims with authentic, verifiable, independent sources. Otherwise any old weirdo (or terrorist...) could put any old crap (or propaganda) on the internet and people might believe it. Oh, wait...

There were numerous posts on here from people saying "hate Eurovision, haven't heard the song, but I'm going to vote 20 times for Israel".

I also don’t believe claims of famine and starvation. The same claims were made a year ago then the supporters had to quieten down when we all saw with our own eyes completely well-fed men with guns harassing hostages during the release phase. I’m not going to be tricked a second time.

Tbh, it's really helpful people have been so blatant in posting that online as it gives Eurovision more to work with to change the way public voting operates next year.

It was blatantly the other way round. The song wasn't great, no surprise it didn't attract the jury panels. On the other hand, there was clearly political voting going on - I personally saw people on social media encouraging others to vote Israel to 'own the libs'. Because there were so many choices to vote for, that kind of concentrated effort would have boosted israel, while the other votes were distributed between all the other options.

It’s certainly not rocket science. Maybe those who voted for Israel liked the song, the meaning and the amazing voice of the singer.

She only became a professional singer in 2023 and shortly afterwards suffered the horrific trauma of experiencing a terrifying terrorist attack at a music festival at age 22, having to hide under the dead bodies of other young people, who had just been enjoying themselves with her, for hours and very likely suffers from PTSD, but she still got on stage at another music festival just a year and half later and performed extremely well knowing that there were protests against her participation making her security a massive risk, booing from the crowds, and people even tried to storm the stage obviously to try to do something to her!

None of the other participants went through that. She is amazing IMO.

Do think she’s a disgrace to humanity because she represented her country, who were invaded and attacked in one of the worst terrorist attacks on record (which she was also involved in) for participating?

If she was from any other country in the same circumstances, the reaction on here would be very different and the consensus would be that she thoroughly deserved her win.

Palestinians sadly chose their cause of trying to destroy Israel and kill Jews over having their own country (and potentially being able to enter the Eurovision but would they want to?) and are in a war that was deliberately started by their leaders, with the full support of a majority of adults who voted them in and still support them, knowing the consequences to their own people.

Well, you have the 'actual facts' and then you have the 'hamas propaganda that is completely unverified and certainly at least exaggerated, if not entirely false '. An actual fact is that a young woman who had to lie still for several hours under corpses, surrounded by the screams of people being raped and murdered, is booed and threatened, and even experiences a man launching himself violently at her. And that's who you are aligning yourself with. So forgive me if I don't show much interest in your thoughts on good guys and bad guys.

Did they? How come Israelis get to 'choose their cause of trying to destroy Palestine' and starve, rape and murder and still get to have their own country and enter the little singing competition? Palestinians have to earn the right to self determination apparently but no one else does. Israel can rape, murder, steal, commit pogroms, elect genocidal leaders, openly talk of committing ethnic cleansing and commit war crime after war crime and no one is taking away their right to self determination. I wonder why that is? I'm sure when the 'consequences' of Israels actions smack them in the face in future you will be shrugging just as hard.

I just can't fathom how anyone who is siding with those people booing her, abusing her and even trying to storm the stage to attack her can possibly think that they're the good guys?!
