@Whatsinanamehey I am not completely against the US GHF aid system (as many on here are and were from its inception). I understand why a new method of aid distribution had to be found in order to break one of the methods Hamas used for making money and controlling the local population.

But - I have been disappointed that that the Israel government have not built more of these centres throughout Gaza as they said at one time they would do. 4 centres for the whole of Gaza is not enough and leads to panic and chaos when they open to distribute aid.

Overall, I have to agree with you that they have been a bit of a deadly shambles which is a shame because I still think the idea was not a bad one to find a new method of distributing aid that Hamas couldn't control. In my opinion there should have been many more aid distribution centres spread more widely throughout Gaza and obviously, no shooting at civilians whatsoever.

Sky have done a report on the failed Israeli - US GHF aid system. It is a shambles, a dealy shambles that have seen hundreds of Palestinians killed.

They found the days where more sites are operating, correlates with an increase in Palestinians killed.

Whilst on the topic of medics being murdered it's worth mentioning that Channel 4 are airing Doctors under attack tonight at 10, it's a forensic investigation into Israels attacks on hospitals and allegations of the targeting and abuse of medics.

Terrible. Also note from that article that there are now no functioning hospitals in the north. I imagine this is part of the plan to force people to move into ever smaller areas.

It's also been revealed that Israel used a 500lb bomb to hit the crowded cafe in Gaza which killed and injured many. It's one of the few remaining places where journalists would gather as there was Internet access.

The surrounding area was also full of civilians. Experts in international humanitarian law have said this would most likely be considered a war crime. To use a bomb like this in a crowded area where it is certain to kill and injure many innocent civilians.

The director of the hospital, his wife and five children were killed today after Israel bombed their house.

Are you really so surprised, particularly in the context that these boys were raised, that they would support Palestine and see Israel as oppressors?

I thought Manchester would be more likely to allow them than Boardmasters which is an event aimed at a young audience as you say. Plus many of their parents (who are paying for the tickets in many cases) will get alarmed about it.

Given the much younger audience at Boardmasters (plus last year's bad publicity on crowd control) they really need to drop Bob Vylan from Boardmasters.

No - it’s pointing out that these bands can’t care that much about Palestinians or they would condemn Iran and its use of proxy terrorism to destabilise the Middle East .

They have also been axed from a music festival in France and there are calls for them to be dropped from Boardmasters in Cornwall later in the summer.

Blaming Hamas is just deflecting.

Latest on Bob Vylan is that they have now been axed from a music festival taking place in Manchester this weekend and from an upcoming performance at a German music venue.

Their diary is unexpectedly empty if anyone would like to book them for weddings or anything.

My point still stands.

Not only have they backed up their words with actions like donating money to Gaza. But also kneecaps fanbase is not just republicans confined to Northern Ireland.

It would be stranger for a group of working class lads in a nationalist area in NI not to support the Palestinians.

They have grown up surrounded by Palestinian flags and solidarity messages. They will also have been surrounded by references of parallels in their experience and the Palestinian experience of fighting for their identity and living under partition and policing.

So there is much to criticise about Kneecap but their words and actions on the Palestinian issue are genuine.

Yes - it’s true there are Palestinian flags everywhere in Nationalist communities. There are also historic links between IRA and the PLO .
In my view Kneecap are using the conflict to appeal to their fan base. They co opt symbols of terrorism and then claim they’re using them satirically. Hard to know what’s actually genuine.

For anyone saying that Kneecap are using the war for publicity - go to West Belfast (where they hail from) there are Palestinian flags everywhere. There are solidarity marches most weekends around NI. The community they live in are 100% for Palestine. Their take on it is not fake, they've been shouting about it since they started. As always NI is a strange place. Go to a loyalist part and you'll see Israel flags, just to p*ss off the Nationalists.
