How many under 1 year old Israelis have been killed? Now how many under 1 Palestinian babies have died? Over a thousand in direct conflict.

Israel has now normalised killing children, it has killed over 17,400 over them.
So I find it so bizarre some keep banging on about Shani Louk and on how she may or may not have been killed.

Actually, I don’t. It’s probably because they can put a face to the name and identify far closer with a white European than thousands of brown people from a different culture with Arab names.

I was certainly hopeful for her. There were various news outlets, Israeli and other, reporting from her mother who said she might still be alive at the time - that she was in hospital. It’s not like I have a hotline to pedal Hamas lines.

Possibly something to do with the Arabs in the region being told to flee and come back afterwards when the Arab armies had successfully annihilated the Jews?

Only it didn’t work out like that which is what ‘the great catastrophe’ refers to. You flee, lose the land in a war you started, you have no right to come back.

There was no Palestinian identity among Arabs in 1948 btw. They referred to themselves as Arabs.

I think they would have done a few months ago, actually. I think there was more of a will to explore a two state solution; but it is important to remember that Gaza doesn’t want that, either.

The absolute obsession some people on this board have for defending war crimes is astonishing. Every single source apart from Israel is anti Israel or worse so absolutely must not be trusted. Rape, torture, murder, there really is nothing that they won't have a go at defending or denying. It's truly fascinating the hours and hours some people put into trying to make people be quiet about the war crimes of a foreign country 1000s of km from them. Repeating the same things over and over and over like this time maybe people will listen and suddenly agree that preventing people from receiving medical care or raping and torturing people is just war, everybodies doing it.

If you fancy a break from them there are some questions you can ask that they will never answer because the truth doesn't fit with the lines that they repeat so you just ask those questions and they will disappear off for a few hours and hope that you've forgotten what you asked by the time they come back saying 'why don't they just release the hostages and it will all be over'. It really is quite something to watch.

Interesting- you say she is obsessed because she posts about the atrocities on multiple threads and yet you are there on all the threads posting your pro Israel rhetoric - why are you so obsessed. One of you is highlighting a genocide and one of you is defending it.

Also when people post about Putin’s crimes no one says it’s a lie or tries to justify it. No one tries to say Syrian women deserve to be oppressed or Ukrainians deserve to be bombed. There is no need to spend time showing proof as we accept the evidence.

Israel has spent a fortune on flooding the internet with pro Israel propaganda and whitewashing their crimes against humanity - students, a division of the IDF, a whole government department. They have also got a private contract with Microsoft which gives them their own AI to utilise in doing this - any chat or board that highlights Israeli crimes there is a flood of posts twisting words and facts, flooding the web with misinformation so people get confused about the issues and think the facts are up for debate. There are not two sides, this is a genocide. Even Israeli soldiers are breaking the silence about crimes that have been committed.
There are no international Doctors or journalists that have visited the area that back Israel’s version of events. There is video evidence, there are dead bodies, there is testimony from Israeli soldiers and Israeli citizens. All international human rights charities and the UN have declared it genocide. It is not a war, it is not two sided, it is an extermination.

No other country has this level of investment in cyber war and whitewashing their genocide so there is less need for ordinary people to stand up and fight back. I applaud NattyTurtle and others for standing up for human rights and innocent people who are unable to defend themselves.
