Israel has been found to be committing genocide in Gaza by legal teams from the UN, Amnesty and Human Rights Watch. Israel has deliberately attacked MSF ambulances and clinics and the World Central Kitchen killing overseas volunteers including a British army vet.
See Amnesty video explaining below

Jewish-American Dr. Mark Perlmutter on what he saw in Gaza and why he believes it's deliberate genocide (warning - heart breaking)

On average one child is being killed every 45minutes. Over 100 were killed 18th and 19th March alone. There has been a total blockade preventing entry of food or medicine since the start of March.

Israel is an apartheid state according to the ICJ, UN, B'Tselem, Yesh Din, Amnesty, Human Rights Watch.

The British government is supporting Israel in this genocide with military recon flights and arms. Our government did not stop supporting White Apartheid South Africa until it was forced to by British people's outrage, and by the global boycott. It is time to do the same again to show that we do not accept genocide and that we really do stand by the values of international humanitarian law.

Dr Mark Perlmutter describes finding ‘distinct signs of genocide’ in Gaza

“Genocide was the overwhelming impression that I got.”Orthopaedics surgeon Dr Mark Perlmutter described to Democracy Now on Thursday that he found “distinct ...

And another terrorist attack today at a Jewish museum by a Palestinian supporter.
Jews murdered for the sole reason they are Jewish.
When do you ever hear of lone Jewish terrorists?

What can we honestly do though? It's terrible that innocent people are being killed - but what can we actually do? Nothing. We've intervened in conflicts before that realistically have absolutely nothing to do with us & all that's happened is we have incited more hatred for the UK in those countries we have tried to help. I absolutely wish there was a ceasefire & a truce called - but I am also not naive. I feel so sorry for children in conflicts all over the world, children brutalised in the Congo, Afghani girls who are repressed beyond belief, the poor children in Gaza but as a country we can't realistically do anything to solve all of the worlds problems.

No, this is very different. The UK is funding and supplying Israel, along with the US and Germany. What the UK can do is stop supplying arms, stop the reconnaissance flights over Gaza on behalf of Israel, stop putting diplomatic pressure on the ICJ and ICC to stop them from doing their jobs and holding Israel to account, and start speaking truthfully about the evidence of Israel's war crimes (which our FCO warned our govt about in Dec 2023).
The UK govt is NOT an innocent bystander in this, it is arming and supporting this genocide and has been called out for this by Oxfam, UN, Save the Children, Amnesty, etc etc.
What we need to do is show our elected representatives that this is completely unacceptable to us and against British values.

It’s not 50,000 civilians though. Half of them are terrorists.
Historically the civilian to military death rates in a war are 10 to 1.
The war in Gaza is 1 to 1. Still terrible. Not a genocide.
Israel is doing everything it can to destroy Hamas with minimal civilian casualties. Hamas don’t wear uniforms, they hide in and under hospitals, in amongst civilians. They use normal Palestinians as human shields. If they cared for their people, they would have released the prisoners, secured the aid convoys, negotiated a cease fire. But no, they perpetuate their people’s suffering. Absolute scum of the earth.
Israel needs to let the aid convoys in under protection of an independent force backed by America, and continue the war against Hamas.

You must live in Israel or read exclusively Israeli media as the figures given by the UK and EU media are vastly different to those you have quoted. Over 70% of those killed are women and children - many of the men killed include ambulance drivers, paramedics, surgeons, journalists, UN workers and a host of other professions. Not all men in Gaza are terrorists - children are definitely not terrorists. You really need to cite the sources of your figures as it reads like you have just plucked them from the air. Your post is classic DARVO - Deny, Attack, Reverse victim and offender. It just cites Israeli propaganda which utilises DARVO to deflect blame and responsibility for their war crimes.

If you manage to kill 50,000 civilians, I’d say that’s not very targeted. Whatever you feel comfortable calling it, it is, factually, the murder of tens of thousands of innocent people.

Easy: the UK should stop supplying arms and other military support to Israel.
on a personal level you can write to your MP
you can use the boycat app
you can donate to MAP
you can join a protest

The UK can stop selling them arms and the military can stop assisting them - why was a UK military aircraft flying over Gaza the other week! They can freeze government officials assets, they can stop importing goods from Israel. There are lots of things that can be done.

It’s awful BUT israel is not specifically and deliberately targeting children

Actually several international doctors have said that many of the kids brought into them had been shot by snipers with precision in the head and heart. Trained snipers from an elite army hit multiple CHILDREN exactly in their heads and their hearts. I don’t think you can get more deliberate than that.

The Israeli government and the IDF are child murderers, the lowest of the low, complete scum. The quotes coming from Israeli government officials about clearing Gaza of Palestinians and occupying it show the type of people they are - sociopaths with no regard for human life. A magical man in the sky told me that this land is mine so I am going to murder kids to get it. Inhuman, cold, heartless, murderers.

For all the Hamas supporters here, who pretend to be horrified by terrorism but didn't post a single thing after 7/10 but are very happy to spread lies:
https://israelfaqs.com/ and https://www.cija.ca/tags/myths_and_facts.

I don't see any hamas supporters here, nice try.

For what it's worth, everyone was rightly horrified after the events of 7/10. Governments of the world supported the government of Israel against hamas terrorists, and international action was seen to be done.

The reason the world are so vocal now, against Israel, is because Israel took the revenge too far, beyond what is humanly acceptable. We can't abide or tolerate babies and innocent people being killed in revenge for what terrorists did. Our Governments were still supporting Israel in their actions. Meanwhile our pensions continue to be invested in Israeli arms and we continue to be sold Israeli good in the shop, our sportspeople and artists are expected to work alongside those representing a country which is now behaving as a terrorist.

THAT is the difference. Israel had our support. They definitely don't anymore.

Who do they imagine they’re hitting when they unleash missile after missile after missile? They have destroyed every last hospital, where do they think the starving and ill children are going for help?
There are no excuses left.

I agree with you. How anyone can justify these murders is beyond me!

How ANYONE is willing to try and justify what Israel is doing is beyond comprehension. We are seeing a genocide in real time, and people on this thread feel that it is in any way reasonable!? Would you still defend it to the mothers of the thousands of children who are starving right now because their food has been taken away by the Government of Israel?
