Israel has been found to be *committing genocide* in Gaza by legal teams from the UN, Amnesty and Human Rights Watch. Israel has deliberately attacked *MSF ambulances* and clinics and the World Central Kitchen killing overseas volunteers including a British army vet. The British government is supporting Israel in this genocide with military recon flights and arms. Our government did not stop supporting White Apartheid South Africa until it was forced to by British people's outrage, and by the global boycott. It is time to do the same again to show that we do not accept genocide and that we really do stand by the values of international humanitarian law.

The press has obtained the "manifesto" of the alleged (becausr there were witnesses last night who said the shooter fled the scene on a bike) perpetrator of the murder of the Israeli Embassy staff members.

The person arrested (a Mexican American) says that they were motivated by the atrocities committed by the Israeli Government and IDF and the inaction of the International community to intervene.

Tragic nonetheless.

Of course those with a longer memory will fondly recall Israel's 6th PM Menachem Begin.
As leader of the Irgun, he kidnapped and hanged three British soldiers, booby-trapping their bodies so the rescuing soldiers were also wounded (the Sergeants' Affair).
And he bombed the King David hotel killing 90 British off-duty personnel and civilians.

When Churchill called an emergency meeting to address "terrorism in Palestine" he was talking about Jewish extremists the Irgun and Haganah, who founded modern terrorist techniques in the Middle East and who openly used human shields (Google, "On Human Shields", Prof.Neve Gordon)

It is awful that couple were murdered, truly horrible. However, I don’t think you can blame the starving Palestinians on a different continent for the actions of a man in American just as we cannot blame Israel for the actions of Joseph Czuba who murdered a 6 year old Palestinian American child. Murder is wrong but bringing in the actions of a lone nutter in America does not strengthen your arguments on why Israel’s genocide is just.

There have been countless jewish terrorists, there have been countless muslim terrorists, christian terrorists, Irish, British, American, Israeli etc… No religion or ethnicity is inherently good or bad, you get good people and bad people in every country. Saying jewish people are never terrorists is just ridiculous (also makes me think you need to read more widely) - you are not better than me because of your religion, muslim people are not more likely to be terrorists because of their religion. The word terrorism itself is used as a weapon - Israel murder around 20,000 kids and that is “war” but if a member of the IDF is shot that is terrorism. When settlers kill people going about their day in the West Bank is that terrorism or what would you class it?

Historically the civilian to military death rates in a war are 10 to 1.
The war in Gaza is 1 to 1. Still terrible. Not a genocide.
Israel is doing everything it can to destroy Hamas with minimal civilian casualties. Hamas don’t wear uniforms, they hide in and under hospitals, in amongst civilians. They use normal Palestinians as human shields. If they cared for their people, they would have released the prisoners, secured the aid convoys, negotiated a cease fire. But no, they perpetuate their people’s suffering. Absolute scum of the earth.
Israel needs to let the aid convoys in under protection of an independent force backed by America, and continue the war against Hamas.
