Hamas and Gazans revolting

Interestingly there was some mention on social media of protesters chanting against Al Jazeera for not covering it initially. Looks like some ordinary Gazans have noticed that they're a mouthpiece.

I did wonder initially if it were genuine, but notice that the Israelis have killed quite a few top Hamas people recently. Which obviously has weakened them, but also raises the question of whether other Gazans have been sharing intelligence.

Hamas is killing children. It was one of the horrendous atrocities they committed which started this war.

War is awful but Israel at least tries to limit civilian casualties.

I know they did. Sorry I couldn't edit by the time I realised it was missing "this"! That appears to be the only coverage Al Jazeera has on this. No mention of it being anti hamas.
Shameful if that really is it, but quite confirms the Hamas mouthpiece accusations. Shame, used to love their coverage on things worldwide pre this war.

Thank you - I tried to make it clear that I didn't think all marchers in the UK are pro Hamas (though some plainly are as we see from the placards) or that all Palestinians in Gaza share the same opinions either.

I think there is truth in that statement “some “ ( not all ) marchers have appeared more pro Hamas than the Palestinians in Gaza

Beit Lahiya, Beit Hanoun, Jabaliya have all experienced devastating bombing since Israel have launched their murderous assault again. Now you see what the Palestinians who want peace are up against from all sides.

They hardly ever are though, are they? It's always talk of how Israel deserves it and how Hamas might be bad but Israel is worse etc.

Hopefully seeing this will give some people a bit of a head wobble.

The protests were taking place in Beit Lahiya in the north, the North was still being bombed last night.

You know you can be both against the actions of Israel and Hamas? Many posters are generally even if they disagree on certain aspects at times.

Hamas dispersed and assaulted the protesters they did not allow it.

But they can’t stop all protests or silence all Palestinian civilians.

Why would people protesting about Hamas in Gaza be Hamas sympathisers? I don’t understand your logic.

I'm not 100% sure it's genuine, sadly. I can't see Hammas allowing this. How do we know these are not all Hammas sympathisers? I don't know why they'd be doing this but I just feel doubtful about the whole thing.

Well it’s early days for Palestinian civilians in Gaza to openly oppose Hamas and protest against them - for very understandable reasons.

It does bring hope though that Hamas can be eradicated if local people are feeling brave enough to protest to end their toxic rule.
