I feel the same. I'm just an old lefty, a Labour supporter whose been on umpteen protest and peace marches over the years, but this is something else. Now I've fallen out with friends over the issue, like you say.

The attempts to claim the nurses were somehow tricked into saying what they said were absolutely ridiculous.
Same as their subsequent drama about having panic attacks and being rushed to the hospital. Absolutely pathetic.

I do wonder about some of the western women on the marches, and the gay people. What do they think their lives would be like under Hamas?

After seeing that clip the other week of the two nurses in Australia smiling and threatening their Jewish patients it’s hard to tell whether people are trying to provoke or whether they just speak their mind because they’ve somehow come to believe that their views are perfectly acceptable.

And they got universally defended! In fact, many managed to shoehorn blaming "Zionists" for it, saying they were tricked or goaded into it.
I think people globally feel complete impunity now to say whatever antisemitic bile pops into their tiny brains.

The mind-boggling thing is that quite a few people in the West choose to believe them.
Terrorists who raped, tortured and murdered over a thousand people on October 7th say they won’t mistreat their hostages - well, that must be true!
It’s like when people said: ‘Look, the female hostages were smiling and waving upon their release, they must have been treated well!’
Never mind that one of them had two fingers missing and another a bullet stuck in her leg, not to mention the psychological trauma.

Say what you like about GB News they are the only news outlet to be discussing the truth of what is happening out there.

I saw a Hamas spokesperson being interviewed on the news shortly after Oct 7. He promised that no harm would come to any of the hostages. That was already a lie. They don't care about or respect their own people but they frame it as 'resistance'. It is sickening.

I do not know the details of this but surely giving medication to hostages is not breaking political neutrality? In what world is that ‘taking sides’?
i am baffled that this could be considered not being politically neutral. It is the very definition of it.

As for the poor woman whose body it is? Why was the mistake made, what about her family?

I think the chances of this being a mistake are extremely slim.

Why didn’t they transport the medication? Is it because they have to be strictly neutral politically even when it means ordinary citizens will suffer?
