What would the 'support for Israel' equivalent of wearing a Keffiyeh be?

Although the Keffiyeh is a traditional Bedouin headdress it now largely indicates support for Palestine. I've noticed women wearing them in Zoom meetings and would like to find a way to reciprocate with my own clothing statement.

It’s interesting the line between belief and political statement.

I share both of your views OP but wouldn’t wear or display my belief in either because I don’t think it’s appropriate to make political statements. And yet everyone at work has pronouns in their bio even when their name is Steve and wears rainbow lanyards 🙄

I don’t think either of those things are appropriate either but some feel they’re akin to personal belief like wearing a cross… which I guess I can see. I just don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️

There isn't one because the keffiyeh is worn as a symbol of resistance against colonial repression.

The main issue with the sudra is that it looks pretty indistinguishable from the keffiyeh at first glance, so it won't be making the statement you think. But I'm giggling to myself at the idea of a dozen people on a Teams call in drizzly Berkshire or Wolverhampton all sporting a range of traditional middle eastern headwear.

I'd wear a magen david. Or a yellow ribbon.

I have to say, I agree with a PP that I don't think work is the place.

Work shouldn't be a place for political statements, so if you feel people are wearing things to convey a political message, it could be worth raising it with a manager and/or HR.
