Why are you perpetuating division between groups particularly ones that aren't mutually exclusive? There are British Jewish Pro-Palestinian people. And why would there be examples of British Jewish beating Pro-Palestinian people unless you're equating pro-Palestinian with people being racist and violent. Taking down posters, while despicable, is not the same as attacking Arab taxi drivers cars for example, the latter being more likely to breed a violent response considering it's inciting violence.

Well I hope whoever was part of last nights violence is caught and prosecuted. Football hooligans have really got out of hand over the years and more needs to be done to prevent it.

Ofcourse there has been violence. I didn't say it was specifically about British Jews or anything like that. There has been violence from what I have seen from thugs who identify with either side.

The Jewish community in the UK is overwhelmingly peaceful, hardworking, law abiding, assimilated and has contributed so much which is why to see so many people in the UK turn their backs on British Jews just disgusts me.

There's plenty of them who are violent towards pro Palestinians. Don't act like the violence doesn't go both ways.

I’ve seen people begging not to be beaten up while saying “I’m not Jewish, I’m not Jewish” and of a dad running through the streets with his son and people having their heads stamped on and of more people jumping into to canals and of attackers yelling pro-Palestine/anti-Israeli things as they attack people in the street.

Your OP implies ALL the Maccabi were behaving badly all day and that they incited the attacks therefore, they deserved what they got for not behaving. Were they not being Good Jews?

Oh, I’ve also heard that the attackers were not Ajax fans but were instead “highly organised” groups of men who had planned their attacks. Now, I don’t know the nationality/cultural background of those people but it’s safe to say they weren’t attacking the Maccabi fans because they supported a different team.

Conor Dalton tells me: "I felt worried. Everyone was going into the city so everyone knew what was going to happen."
He adds that he is "shocked by the portrayal" of the incident in the media, adding that the attacks were "completely provoked" and Palestinian flags were "torn down the night before".

If the Israel football hooligans did indeed do that then I can see why the Dutch hooligans responded. It was never going to end well.

Those blooming football fans going around ambushing themselves and beating themselves up, running themselves over, throwing themselves in canals for no reason.
