The IDF have been so calculated haven't they.

The plan for Israel to starve Palestinians has been made so much in advance.

Israel have conducted studies on how they will starve Palestinians just enough that they do not die but also enough hat they suffer from the physical and psychological effects of starvation.

How are they allowed to calculate how to starve children "just enough" and then to starve them for an entire year.

I am just in shock after reading through some of these studies from Israel. It is a very calculated evil move.

This happened in 2012 so it has been ongoing for so long now. How is this allowed? Where are the sanctions?

This reads like a plan to figure out calories required not a starvation plan. Normal logistical planning by the looks of it. You do need to read your own links.

The existence of a document discussing how many calories/protein etc a population needs is not the same as a starvation plan. You can definitely question whether Israel allowed enough food through but this is such a silly post.

Also food aid was coming through the Rafah crossing from Egypt. I don’t know why people keep forgetting that Egypt had a crossing with Gaza.

The more I read into it the stranger and more sinister it all is. Why are so many innocent civilians being starved as collective punishment. People in the north surviving on around 250 calories a day and then are expected to move up and down Gaza by foot.

The amount of psychological torture these people have faced is truly disturbing.

Unfortunately people coming out of this won’t feel love for the “emancipation” or whatever it is Israel feels it is doing. Palestinians talk of living under occupation and this will fire their desire to resist.

They've been low key trying to starve the Palestinians for a long time. For example, the Palestinians are not allowed to fish outside of an arbitrary limit or they will be shot on sight. Naturally, there are no fish left inside the limit, so fishermen must risk death in order to catch anything.
I remember seeing one fisherman interviewed say he was going to blatantly go outside the limit in broad daylight so they would kill him and he wouldn't have to live that way anymore. 😢

From reading the article, wasn't the calculation for how many aid trucks they needed to let in to avoid malnutrition? Presumably the Red Cross etc. do those calculations all the time all around the World.

I mean, they then let in way fewer trucks which is appalling but the "studies to starve them just enough" stuff is a bit melodramatic.

No words. Good on this charity for fighting for this to be released. But if course all the blame lies with Hamas for the plight of the Palestinian people before Oct 7th. Israel have done nothing but keep ceasefire and provide for the people kettled into the Gaza strip Hmm

It is shocking and indefensible. Don't forget , "mowing the grass" every few years too.
Successive Israeli governments have been given carte blanche by the Western world because, I think, they need a base in the middle east, to operate from, if needed. Other Middle East countries are hostile to the West, in general, and Israel isn't. I think there is also a certain element of not wanting to be considered antisemitic too.
