No it doesn't. I noticed that people like to attack the source and say nothing about the content when I post a video. It happens a lot and it doesn't matter who the source is.

Of course it matters who the source is. If a racist Hamas supporter is the source, maybe find a better one. And stop following people like that in xitter.

The takeaway from all this is: don't invade a country, rape women, burn families alive, torture people to death, kidnap hundreds of people including a baby, and expect that there won't be consequences.
War is hell, don't start one.

To be honest Hamas as well as Israeli citizens (idf and extremists) have done all these actions.

i still find depressing that people find reasons to justify mass killings of innocent civilians.

The malignant element in power (Ben Givr, Smotrich Netanyahu and people like them) will become a danger to Israelis too, not just Palestinians. See how it begins.

'Ben-Gvir Is Back, You're Done': Israeli Cops Wound Anti-war Protesters in Jerusalem
Several demonstrators said they needed medical attention after being beaten by officers at a protest against the Gaza war. While police claim the protesters disrupted traffic and blocked roads, there is no evidence to support these allegations.

Police clashed with dozens of left-wing activists on Tuesday evening at a protest in Jerusalem against the renewal of the war in Gaza. Protesters told Haaretz that Border Police officers, some of whom were masked, beat them, broke the arm of one female protester and smashed a protester's phone.

Around 100 activists from the Free Jerusalem organization participated in the protest. They gathered in the city center, sat at the entrance to the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall without blocking the road, and called for an end to the fighting in Gaza. While the police claim that the protesters disrupted traffic and blocked roads, there is no evidence to support this.

One of the protesters, Tomer Lev, told Haaretz that the officers "Were punching people in the face, struck drums [used by the protesters] against poles, slammed one protester onto a lottery stand and began pushing people around."

Lev added that when he asked one of the officers to identify himself, as he had no name tag and his face was covered, the officer refused. "They were completely unrestrained," Lev said. "The officer told me, 'You want me to identify myself? I don't give a fucking damn about you. Ben-Gvir is back, you're all done.'"

Another protester, Maayan, said that the police turned violent even before the protest started. "There was no declaration of an illegal gathering or an attempt to disperse, it was just hitting for the sake of hitting," she added. "They threw punches everywhere, pushing people to the ground and grabbing our megaphones and drums."

"There was no declaration of an illegal gathering or an attempt to disperse, it was just hitting for the sake of hitting," she added. "They threw punches everywhere, pushing people to the ground and grabbing our megaphones and drums."

"One of the protesters was lying on the ground, and they kept hitting him with punches," she said. "I told an officer, 'Please stop, you're going to kill him,' and he kept on going. I tried to protect him with my hand, and the officer kicked me."

"They pulled me by the hair. One of the officers put his hand under my shirt and ripped my bra," she recounted. At the hospital, doctors diagnosed a fracture in her arm.

The protester whom Deutsch tried to protect is likely Oren Peled. He told Haaretz that he approached one of the officers, who seemed to be breaking a drumstick, and asked him to identify himself.

"He started pushing me, then hit me with a really strong punch to the face. I fell to the ground, and they continued to beat me," he said. "I turned to the officers even after the protest ended, but no one was willing to give me his details."

Israeli news outlet Ynet journalist, Liran Tamari, later reported an officer kicking a protester in the groin. In another incident, an officer punched a female protester in the nose, causing severe wounds. In yet another case, the relative of a hostage who was murdered in the Gaza Strip was knocked to the ground.

Every sign, megaphone, or drum was a target for destruction. Even phones, glasses and body parts," says protester Eyal Raz. "In an ongoing and brutal violence fueled by shouts of 'go home,' the police clarified that, from their perspective, there's no place in the public space for anyone who opposes Israeli brutality in Gaza," he added.

"[In Gaza], Israel violates life-saving agreements with deadly bombings, and in Jerusalem, the police are taking apart with blows anyone who fulfills their [civic] duty and opposes this."

The police in a statement said that "dozens of protest participants began disrupting public order in the center of Jerusalem on Tuesday night by blocking the road and attempting to hold an unauthorized procession."

According to the statement, the protesters "did not comply with the officers' demands and physically confronted them. After the participants were informed that the demonstration was illegal due to their actions, and a dispersal order was given, the officers acted within their authority to move them from the road to the sidewalk."

"If there are any complaints about the conduct of the officers, they should be examined by the appropriate authorities," it added.

ISRAEL: Over the last 24 hours, the IDF said it has permanently ended the service of two reservists after they said they would refuse to serve in protest of the government's policies and its decision to return to fighting in Gaza. One intelligence officer, Michael Majer, posted on X on Tuesday that he refuses to "take part in fighting in service of a bunch of filthy traitors and in complete opposition to the interests of the people of Israel."

Maybe more will follow their example.

I’ve seen 2 people (a man and a woman) on twitter who have rejected to enlist and have been through prison. Unsure whether they’re the same ones. But wish more did.

I see that absolute scumbag has taken a break from posting Hamas press releases' defending Andrew Tate and hanging out with the KKK to spam antisemitic conspiracy theories about JFK. And yet thousands of people still listen to what he has to say.

it’s not the only organisation pursuing those that are committing war crimes hopefully we soon will see those have committed crimes behind bars

Smotrich said it too when Ben Gvir was trying to get him to quit in protest of the ceasefire back in January. The far-right minister said that while his party could not prevent the deal, they were able "to ensure" through the cabinet and "other ways", that the war would not end without achieving Israel's full goals, foremost of which is "the complete destruction of Hamas in Gaza". He said that his faction had demanded and "received a commitment" that the method of war would be completely changed. That included, said Smotrich, "through a gradual takeover of the entire Gaza Strip, the lifting of the restrictions imposed on us by the [US President Joe] Biden administration, and full control of the Strip, so that humanitarian aid will not reach Hamas as it has been until now."

ScrollingLeaves · 18/03/2025 14:13

Even at the start of the ceasefire Haaretz (Israeli) said they had been told by a White House source that Netanyahu was not going to keep to the deal. Presumably Trump agreed as he has been sending large quantities of the massive load explosives ready for Netanyahu to carry out this sort of attack.

I just can't get my head around why Netanyahu is seen as morally superior to Putin by so many world leaders?! Why is one evil and the other perfectly OK? Both have international arrest warrants out for them! Both have commitmented war crimes! Our Government only condemn one 😡

I agree, only Trump loves both Putin and Netanyahu. That is kind of an indication as to what all three stand for and are capable of.

New Millenium, new genocides, it isn’t ever going to end is it?
I feel so utterly powerless and, let’s face it, raw hatred and anger towards those in power who could stop it but aren’t. Those who have a voice and could at least speak out against it, but aren’t.
