The Israeli military is conducting an ethnic cleansing operation in the northern Gaza Strip. The few Palestinians remaining in the area are being forcibly evacuated, homes and infrastructure have been destroyed, and wide roads in the area are being built and completing the separation of the communities in the northern Strip from the center of Gaza City.
Anyone know what's the purpose of the wide roads?

A senior IDF officer, identified by London's The Guardian newspaper as Brig. Gen. Itzik Cohen, the commander of the 162nd Division, explained to reporters: "There is no intention of allowing the residents of the northern Gaza Strip to return to their homes."
Doesn't bode well does he mean never return?

They've killed approximately 30 people today in Gaza. Including 13 children according to RTÉ news.

44 people killed in 24 hours in Gaza according to RTÉ news. Including a group of children preparing to play football and 2 journalists and a child in another attack. Many tented refugee camps amongst the attacks. I'm just recalling what I saw on TV earlier but there's a written report below. These are massacres of civilians. Undoubtedly illegal. All part of the genocide.

My comment from this morning got deleted (I’ve already challenged it to mnhq). However , to me it’s important to keep something in this thread that the Israeli hooligans have done. They’ve not respected the minute of silence for the Spanish (&british) people that have died in the horrible floodings that have happened in the last week.

this shouldn’t be accepted in football. Spain is doing more and more nowadays against those teams that are allowing racism in their grounds (tho in my opinion not enough). They’re closing stadiums for racism. In my opinion Ajax should be accountable for allowing fireworks into the stadium. Maccabi should be penalised for the behaviour of their hooligans not respecting death civilians.

It’s also predictable that many posters will ignore what some Israel citizens do. Haven’t seen much condemnation today about the hooligans behaviour. When Spanish hooligans behave like this I’m ashamed of them. I don’t try to justify it saying oh well they’re thugs. I see lack of condemnation and minimisation of what many of those that travelled to Amsterdam did yesterday. I wished all hooligans were banned from football matches. They bring nothing but trouble.

I was listening to Irish radio this evening. There was a Palestinian woman living in Ireland on, she's been on a few times over the past few months. Her elderly mum is still in Gaza, has been granted a visa to come to Ireland but they can't get her out. She's in Northern Gaza so things are now desperate. I just don't understand how these people are not able to get out even with foreign governments trying to organise it.

Tonight on Channel 4 we saw a man in a ruined building in northern Gaza picking up handfuls of black, frayed, charred lumps, and placing them in a bag. They turned out to be the pieces of a Palestinian woman and her children recently exploded by Israel, and he was gathering them up as best he could so as to be able to give them a burial.

More to add to that category, Women and Children, which makes up 70% of the tens of thousands of Palestinians killed by the State of Israel.

I don’t care about their disrespect to be honest. They’re hooligans. I don’t expect anything from hooligans from any country (not even the Spanish ones) they should all be banned and kicked out of any football matches.

Maybe look at the time of EasterIssland post. News was only breaking the King etc had not come out yet with statements. There was no information yet of it being a coordinated attack. She is also Spanish so no doubt upset with the disrespect shown during the minutes silence.

Dreadful. This thread gets worse and worse. Amazing how people on here twist things so that even though the king, the police and others came out to say it was anti semitism and attacks were planned and coordinated beforehand you chose not to believe them.

I do hope those that shouted chants against Muslims get also identified and arrested though I really doubt this will happen
