from a Twitter account operated by Benjamin Netanyahu’s office: “The importance of this historic recognition has been underscored today. The Golan Heights will be an inseparable part of the State of Israel forever.”

The Independent.

Help yourself. Why not. Why stop there? Everyone needs a little extra living space on this crowded planet.

Palestine is slowly being shoved out of the news by Syria. The west, especially the US, have been funding the rebels for years. This is a regime change pushed by the West the same as when the US funded the Ba’ath revolutionaries to power in Iraq in the 1960s which gave us Saddam in the 1980s but we had to invade to change that regime again.

I am thoroughly disgusted with all of this and sick of the inhumanity and cruelty of our government and supposed allies.

Horribly it seems now to have got to the stage where this is so normal you just wonder if the end will ever come. Attacking seems to have become compulsive for Israel.

PeasfullPerson · 07/12/2024 10:52

Every day Gaza sees death and destruction, and for what.

I’m not sure anyone remains shocked by these attacks on hospitals. It was going to be hard to sink lower than the babies that were left to die.

Thanks to you and everyone who has managed to keep raising awareness. I read that Qatar may be getting involved in ceasefire negotiations again.

Whatever is left of beit lahia in the north is being decimted right now.
I can't believe we are seeing ethnic cleansing being played live to the world in real time.

And so much denial about it too 😡

Poor Dr Al Bursh. I met a friend of his earlier this year - he was by all accounts a wonderful man and a sad loss. Before his internment he was as fit as flea, swimming in the sea and having the craic with everyone, saving lives and generally being a good guy. RIP.

Today’s Washington Post has a feature of about 120 -independently validated photos and videos posted by IDF soldiers, a small fraction of revenge incidents that escaped the IDF censorship. They show the soldiers torching and destroying people’s homes and property, and celebrating their revenge, often in compliance of orders from their commanding officers.

At least Dr Al Bursh’s family can be proud of their fathers life.

Yes, he was a hero.

And I think because as a surgeon, he was a credible witness to the injuries caused by illegal use of weapons, he was then targeted for detention, torture and a fatal beating. He was dumped naked from the waist down bleeding in a prison courtyard and died shortly thereafter despite other inmates trying to help him, get him medical attention.

Thank you for that reminder of how the Israeli government dealt with this Doctor in Gaza whom the world were likely to listen to regarding his allegations about Israel’s illegal use of weapons on Palestinians.

I agree with you. I had read about him and I can't stomach anymore the cruelty of the so called most moral army in the world.
It is barbarism. But yet, people will defend what cannot be defended.

For obvious reasons no one will be allowed to investigate unfortunately.

“Israel is testing weapons on us that we do not recognize,” Dr. Al-Bursh wrote. “They drop bombs with terrifying sounds, and when a person gets within 200-300 meters of them, they vaporize.

“The massacres happening in northern Gaza are unknown to us until later. Nobody calls to inform us. The Israeli army bombs entire residential blocks, wiping out all their inhabitants, and we only find out about them a day or two later.

“When these weapons are used on residential buildings, they reduce them to small fragments and rubble. We urgently need an international investigation committee to uncover what ‘Israel’ is doing to us.”

May Allah grant all those unjustly slain a place in Jannat al-Firdaus, and reunite them with their loved ones there when it is their time.

I can't see anymore of what they do, the cruelty is beyond anything I ever imagined.

Re Palestinians in Gaza being incinerated.

Mahmoud Ahmad Salah,12, survived an airstrike on 7 December that wiped out his entire family in western Khan Younis.

Dozens of relatives were killed in the strike, but when identifying the bodies, Mahmoud noticed that his mother and brother were not among the recovered corpses.

^“My mother was in the kitchen when the bombing happened,” Mahmoud recalled with a trembling voice in an interview in October near the ruins of his family home.
His testimony adds to the growing evidence that some victims are completely vaporized in some Israeli airstrikes.^

Reports from civil defense workers and hospitals indicate that 1,760 bodies have been incinerated by the intense heat generated by some Israeli bombs.

Civil defense officer Tamer Zourob told The Electronic Intifada that the scenes he encounters are “beyond description.”
“Even the concrete melts and turns to ashes because of these bombs, so imagine what they do to a human body,” he said.

^Many people are reported missing after airstrikes, he said, but extensive search efforts often fail to recover any remains.
“It’s heartbreaking when families beg us to find their loved ones, even a small piece of them. But sometimes, we find nothing,” he said.^
