Absolutely couldn't supports any idea of a genocide of the Israeli people and no sane person would.

Huge issues though with the IDF shooting aid workers and tying them up then lying about why it happened. That's is quite genocidal actions really rather than a mindset.

It's concerning that a mindset that calls for destruction of Israel and it's people is supported on here, sounds a bit..genocidal, and surely nobody supports that.

Go do some research on administrative detention and how long Palestinians are held under there. It's an apartheid system which only applies to Palestinians.

Alleged to have thrown stones and a Molotov cocktail yes and the trial date hadn’t been set yet. Don’t know why the authorities were taking so long to set a trial date, but possibly they don’t prioritise people arrested for throwing Molotov cocktails.

Malnutrition & poor hygiene conditions cause dysentery. As I said above, the prison conditions need to be investigated ( & improved).

International Human Rights laws dictate a prisoner should be allowed to meet their lawyer which he was denied.

Six months he was held in detention and his trial (99% conviction rate anyway) and it was delayed continuously.

When he did collapse and hit his head ,other prisoners called for the authorities they did not respond which could have saved his life.

He was alleged to have thrown stones, however was being held under administrative detention so no trial to prove whether he did or didn't.

The boy died from dysentery not from being starved in prison as you imply. He was in there for throwing stones and a Molotov cocktail.

The conditions in the prison need to be investigated as they sound inhumane. They are being investigated though apparently the prison meets the minimum health standards required under Israel law (sounds like these need to be raised according to the reports of malnutrition & dysentery).

Oh and the difference between Israel and Hamas? Hamas is a terrorist organisation.

It’s factual that none of the deaths on either side of the conflict would have happened had October 7th not happened.

But Israel did have a choice how to respond. So I wouldn’t say Hamas are 100% responsible for all the deaths though they should accept a huge part of the burden for starting a war they realistically couldn’t win.

I guess what they mean is the current conflict is all on Hamas because they did literally start it. But all the deaths are not on Hamas.

They still lay the blame on Hamas. How many US and Israeli politicians have you seen repeating that it's all on Hamas? Quite a few. That's not even starting how many posts I have seen on mumsnet repeating the same thing.

I don’t think even Israeli political leaders could really be claiming that 100% of the death & destruction lies at the feet of Hamas. They have taken responsibility for many military operations & acknowledged that Palestinian civilians have been killed during these operations though they were not the target.
