They've always walked out, it's not news and it's not new. Clearly doesn't make news in the English media until joined by other countries. It was only news when they actually stayed.

An authoriative statement is to say "It's only about Netanyahu and not Israel" when this is something which has existed well before Netanyahu.

To be fair to the UN, UNRWA employs a ton of local employees as it effectively does what should be a governments roles - teachers, nurses, cleaners, drivers - and I'm not surprised some turned out to be Hamas terrorsits as well as sympathisers because that's reflective of the local population.

And UNIFIL's mandate ties its hands. For e.g. they weren't allowed to inspect private homes. - so guess where Hezbollah hid thir missiles?

A lot also isn't the UN's fault. It's not the UN using the GA to demonstratively walk out to score political points but the member states. The UNGA is just the forum.

Absolutely there are but I wouldn't then come on to threads specifically about that country - and at the UN as well - and make authoritative statements on the topic.

And let’s not forget that UNWRA employed terrorists, UN ‘peacekeepers’ have been in south Lebanon for years and it took UN Women 2 months to condemn the violence against women on 7th Oct. The UN is so biased. It’ll be interesting to see what happens to it post US election.

The Arab states and Iran have always done this to Israel by the way, so it's nothing new. They've always appeared so they can walk out 😂It's not like this is the first time, it's been going for decades.

There is a difference to be an empty room and to be a room and people walking out because they disagree with the person invited to talk.

Not sure what your definition of "full" is but I can find you dozens of photos of UNGA speeches which are less full that Netanyahu's.
I don't doubt that he's not particularly liked but, at the same time, it's a totally meaningless metric to gloat about - just shows you don't know how the UN works.

Pakistan spoke just before Israel and this is what it looked like. There was hardly a mass walk out, few people were there to begin with
It's very funny that people here think that all the delegations just sit there through all the endless speeches when anyway it's all recorded and webcast and there's no debate or discussion.
