Is that true? I am constantly staggered with how inept the IDF appear to be, they just seem to have to constantly backtrack on what they have done, why can't they secure sites? or do they enjoy moving people backwards and forwards constantly

The Israeli envoy to the UN is really sad that they won't be left alone to bomb schools in peace, and are now facing criticism for it.

No doubt they will soon say that the UN workers were all Hamas too.

I have come to the conclusion that it's best to ignore inflammatory posts. After 11 months it's a known tactic designed to emotionally harm and waste your time arguing back and forth.

You haven't actually demonstrated the posts you are referreing to so I will take that to mean you haven't anything specific it is a general feeling and opinion you have about some posts, an opinion that is all, so your post is just hyperbole

It is your issue if you're going to make accusations and then refuse to offer further detail. It's pointless. Either say what you mean or don't bother with vague posts making baseless allegations about other people.

That's your choice. Doesn't mean others aren't going to reasonably expect some detail when you make sweeping accusatory statements.

Most of the posters here could do with taking that advice tbh.

It should be possible to have a discussion without demonising other posters and conferring an imaginary (and offensive) moral stance upon them based on a deliberate misinterpretation of their posts.

I'm not asking anyone to back up their charge that a poster criticising Hamas' abhorrent strategy of maximising civilian deaths and injuries is therefore defending the bombing of civilians in humanitarian safe zones because
a) that accusation is completely batshit and intended to provoke so I can choose not to engage with the goad.
and
b) moral judgement and condemnation tend to be the primary objectives of so many of these threads, regardless of what someone actually said, that no-one could be bothered to read properly before making their one-sided assumptions. Sadly, I suspect that won't change.

I think I may have had crossed wires. I was referring to a video someone posted of men telling a woman to get out of a tent and her saying they were putting them all in danger, all overlaid with frightening red capital letters - I thought it might really have been fake.

As Hamas terrorists would know they are IDF targets, they might be wary of someone in the tent they want to take over as a command and control centre filming them. Even in the dark their voices could end up on an IDF data base.

But I can believe that Gazan civilians would panic if fighters come among them.
