Anyway, I was just making an observation. That posting links to pro-terrorist websites is apparently acceptable.
Did you report it? Doubt mumsnet are aware unless it's reported, than see if they find it acceptable or not.

I seriously doubt mumsnet would delete a post pointing out a website was a Hamas supporting so there must have been something else written in that post to have it deleted

Sorry @ForMellowHam I might have misunderstood. I thought you were meaning the OP link to the Al-Mayadeen report about Anonymous was something to ignore because Al Maydeen supports Hamas. (I was trying to say that the report could still be real.)

Have you considered the post might have been deleted for another reason and not for that reason you think ? You can ask mn directly but unless you’re the same poster I believe they won’t tell you the reason (though I might be incorrect on that and they might tell you why it was deleted)

So to be clear, do you think this must be untrue?
Hacker group Anonymous gives "Israel" a 48-hour ultimatum to stop its war on Gaza, or else it will publish confidential information and sensitive files in its possession of the Security Ministry.

This, and the hope it might be effective on bringing about a ceasefire, was the reason for the OP, not any question about whether or not Hamas launched a justified revolt against colonialism.

Reuters reported on Anonymous making a similar threat last April, so I don’t think Al-Maydeen is necessarily not to be believed.

A group called Anonymous for Justice claimed responsibility for the breach, which it said included the retrieval of nearly 300 gigabytes of data. On its website, the group said it would continue attacking Israel "until the war in Gaza stops". (Excerpt from:)

Which website?

Some people believe that linking to any "Arab" news site is akin to linking to a "terrorist" site. Hence the complaining about the Al-Arabiya site.

Did you? It was@AhNowTed who brought up the 40 beheaded babies.

The rest of her post was disputing that, nothing about the mass rapes mentioned.

I did yeah. Did you read Sharons post? Where she said But Hamas have indoubtedly raped teenagers and murdered babies - and have babies held hostage. You are surely not denying that, dear god, surely?

Perhaps you can point out where Ted even came close to denying that babies weren't killed or that rapes happened? Like you said she didn't mention rapes at all and she said in the horror of this massacre, in which 38 minors including two infants were killed so I am interested to hear where both you and Sharon are seeing that Ted is denying that babies were killed or that rapes happened 🤔

Did you read her post? She literally said "However, in the horror of this massacre, in which 38 minors including two infants were killed, there were never 40 decapitated babies. Not in Kfar Aza nor in any other kibbutz, the Israeli government press office confirmed to Le Monde."

How did you miss such a large section of her post which shows that rather than deny anything she is saying exactly what happened?

People in power are not sitting back and doing nothing. There is loads of behind the scenes diplomacy going on and loads of condemnation of the war - have you not seen the news abouut various world leaders & foreign secretataries travelling to Israel? Resolutions in various parliaments? Netanyahu in the US? What realistic deal has Hamas put forward to show they are serious about giving up the hostages and surrendering? What does Anonymous bring to the table? What detailed roadmap to peace are they proposing? Only a child would consider anonymous was a credible player. Im not sure that 'we' all agree that Hamas's actions were terrible. Does that square with the protestors week after week on the streets of London shouting 'Resistance is justified'? The people carrying pictures of parachutes? The people dressed as Hamas fighters?

It's been more than 9 months. According to the US Drs that have been in Gaza there isn't a child that isn't ill with an infection, maltnutrition or both. The US are still providing the bullets Israel are using to shoot children in the head. The US are still clapping the man who is starving children, preventing enough aid reaching the most vulnerable, forcing the displacement over and over again of ill children and families . It is clear that not enough is being done by anyone. Where are the sanctions on Israel? Where are the bans on arms sales? Why is someone like Netanyahu even being allowed to set foot on US soil? 'But Hamas' isn't enough when the US are actively helping Israel to kill children rather than listen to their own Drs who are telling them exactly what is happening on the ground in Gaza. Personally I can't imagine Anonymous will do much at all but neither is anyone else and it's disingenuous to pretend that everyone is trying their best to bring this to a conclusion.

Are folks still believing the "40 babies". Thought that had been widely de-bunked.

Yes we know Netanyahu is still peddling this nonsense. However -

I don't think anyone would object to that? I think we all agree that Hamas killing a baby and an unborn baby was a terrible, terrible thing. There doesn't seem to be as much condemnation for the babies that as US Drs who have been in Gaza say are dying everyday from malnutrion or the children and toddlers that are being shot in the head every day by the IDF. I think that is what caused anonymous to speak out really, if there was as much condemnation of the IDF then the US wouldn't be supplying them with arms and giving standing ovations to Netanyahu.

The only reason groups like anonymous are making a stand is because those in power who should are sitting back and doing nothing. It doesn't really work the other way around though, the US isn't funding Hamas or giving them standing ovations for killing children, Hamas are rightly being condemned so there isn't the impetus there.

'40 beheaded babies': Deconstructing the rumor at the heart of the information battle between Israel and Hamas

On October 10, official Israeli accounts relayed a sordid but unfounded allegation. Six months later, it continues to circulate, fueling accusations of Israeli disinformation.

As things go, it’s a nonviolent pressure and better than a UN peacekeeping force invading Israel and killing alot of IDF to do it.

I am having trouble understanding your post.
Why would "a UN peacekeeping force invade Israel and kill a lot of IDF to do it"?
Are you being serious or sarcastic?
Are you aware what a UN peacekeeping force does?
What we do | United Nations Peacekeeping

What we do

This investment has a proven track record. Over 70 years, our peacekeepers have made a tangible difference in the lives of hundreds of millions of the world’s most vulnerable people, creating conditions for lasting peace, but a viable political process...

RoastSquash · 26/07/2024 14:26

ScrollingLeaves · 26/07/2024 13:53

I don’t really know. It could be that RoastSquash believes a peace keeping UN force mentioned a few posts ago would be like an invasion of Israel, taking it by force, and stopping it from existing?

It would be easier if they quoted what they are responding to though.

I did quote whom I was responding to. Both times. It could be further clarified by tapping show quote history if you were finding the conversation particularly difficult to follow.
@SpiritAdder 's post wasn't 'a mention' of a UN peacekeeping force, it literally says better than a UN peacekeeping force invading Israel and killing alot of IDF to do it. As if this would be an entirely plausible next step should Israel not bow to non violent pressure such as being boycotted by Moroccan drug dealers.

The disingenuity is getting really tedious.
