Yes, it is and it is Hamas and Hezbollah use that tactic 100% of the time. They hide behind civilians and then H&H help stoke the propaganda fires that it is someone else and not THEM causing this war. They gleefully get Palestinians blown up hoping the negative press will stop the war and give them time to reboot their defenses, re-stoke their terror and look for a next victim.

Hamas and Hezbollah need to be destroyed; N is doing exactly what he warned Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah would happen if they did not return their people: protecting Israel.

Hamas and Hezbollah are the ones committing genocide, they make that very clear.

Either the IDF’s intelligence saying there were no women or children there was useless, or they are just saying this as a sound bite.

As their intelligence was evidently so fallible, I wonder if it was equally questionable regarding the “Hamas command center”?

It's relentless and cruel and designed to inflict as much terror and hardship on civilians as possible.

Taoiseach Simon Harris said the "world is standing at the precipice of a horrific moment' and called for an urgent review of the EU-Israel Association Agreement amid, what he said, is "growing evidence of a prolonged humanitarian catastrophe" in Gaza.

The Taoiseach said the weekend had "brought the grisly milestone of 40,000 deaths in Gaza a step closer" after the territory's health officials said an Israeli airstrike on a school killed around 100 people.

He described the attack on the al-Taba’een school as "gut-wrenching", adding that "490 of Gaza’s schools have been bombed or damaged since the start of the war".

"Ireland condemns outright such awful and wholesale loss of civilian life," he said.

Mr Harris’s request for a review of the agreement follows a call earlier this year by then taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
Mr Varadkar and Mr Sanchez wrote to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, calling for a review of whether Israel is compliant with its human rights obligations under the EU-Israel Association Agreement.
In a statement this morning, Mr Harris reiterated this call for a review.
"The agreement contains human rights clauses, and I do not believe it is conscionable for the EU to continue to render them redundant," he said.

The Taoiseach said he is "particularly disturbed" by reports from the United Nations that "the number of aid deliveries reaching Gaza has halved to fewer than 80 trucks a day in June and July".

He said that the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has reported that "only 24 of 67 planned aid missions to northern Gaza this month have been facilitated by Israel".

Mr Harris noted that more than 80% of Gaza is under evacuation orders, and Palestinians are seeking shelter in schools which are being attacked.

He said: "We have all been horrified by the many undoubted war crimes that have been committed in Gaza.

"There can be no impunity.

"Those responsible must be held to account."

The Taoiseach described the world as "standing at the precipice of a horrific moment and yet all levers to bring an end to the violence are not being used".

He said that "all the legally binding orders" of the International Court of Justice must also be "implemented in full".

"Too many innocent lives have been lost in ten months," he said.

Ireland, he said, calls for "an immediate ceasefire, the unconditional release of Israeli hostages and for aid trucks to flow unimpeded".

Turkey's Foreign Ministry said in a statement it released on X that "Israel has committed a new crime against humanity by massacring more than a hundred civilians who had taken refuge in a school building in the Daraj neighbourhood of Gaza City."

Turkey also asserted that "This attack demonstrated once again that the Netanyahu Government intends to sabotage the negotiations for a permanent ceasefire."

"International actors who do not take steps to stop Israel are complicit in Israel's crimes," the statement continued.

EU foreign policy head Josep Borrell also condemned the attack, saying in a post on X, "Horrified by images from a sheltering school in Gaza hit by an Israeli strike, w/ reportedly dozens of Palestinian victims. At least 10 schools were targeted in the last weeks. There's no justification for these massacres."

Pretty much an understatement considering it was nothing short of a massacre on displaced civilians.

“We know that some of the hostages will not survive much longer in the conditions in which they are being held, and in light of their physical and mental health,” the senior official told the news station in a report aired Friday.

I don’t want to look at any of the photos today, what a privilege that I can choose to look away. It’s not because I don’t care, it’s because I’ve seen enough already to know that this is completely wrong and inexcusable.

God help those who can’t look away, those who are surrounded by destruction and death, that they can feel in their bodies, and sense in the air around them. Help those who are forced to try and live like this.

And what about the hostages? I don’t hear much concern for them anymore from the Israeli leaders, only when it can be used as propaganda to justify their attacks or they are attempting to placate the families.

As for the excuse that the school was a Hamas “Command and Control Centre” how likely is it?

Given the IDF particularly target schools, hospitals, mosques and refugee camps or anywhere the displaced Palestinian civilians are likely to be trying to find shelter, aren’t Hamas clever enough to know by now that those are precisely the places to stay away from?

The videos and photos I've seen are too horrific for words. The people who did this are barbarians.

The images coming out of Gaza remind us of the historical sights that Israel asks the world not to forget. Under the false pretense of consideration, Israel diverts millions of people from one place to another.
There are 93,000 wounded in Gaza. About 20 thousand children without a family. Avi Dichter called it Nakba.
This morning, more than 100 IDPs were massacred in the bombing of the Al-Tabi'in school in Gaza.
When the citizens of the enlightened world see these pictures they are outraged, not because they are anti-Semitic.

They say they took steps to mitigate civilian harm including aerial surveillance and intelligence gathered before the strike.
If so those steps appear to have failed. The footage from inside the building is horrendous, a scene of carnage with dozens of bodies and body parts.
We have counted 20 bodies from the pictures, Palestinians say as many as a 100 died.
