The Lancet publish article estimating 186,000 death toll in Gaza

The Lancet has just published this article "conservatively" estimating that the death toll in the Gaza genocide could be 186,000 people or more. That's 8% of the population, obliterated.

Just awful. Regardless of people's views this is just fucking awful and can't be justified. The world will continue to look on and actions left unpunished. A tone is being set here for the rest of the world.

This is a shockingly high estimated number of deaths - tho' have wondered for sometime who was counting all the 'other deaths' not due to direct bombing/shootings especially the deaths due to starvation and the poor survival of newborns
