Indeed you would be correct if they "strapped him onto a vehicle rather than getting him appropriate medical attention " except they strapped him onto a vehicle and took him to get appropriate medical attention.

Nobody is justifying anything - they are addressing a snapshot of an image, designed to provoke outrage.

im not sure why are many of you justifying something that IDF is not happy with.

Then again, if they had left him, there would be pictures posted on here of him laying aboundoned on the ground with a retreating idf vehicle. Can't win either way.

Violating a code of conduct is not necessarily Islamophobia as we do not have enough context or information yet. It is about intention.

IDF trucks do NOT have the Star of David on their trucks. The Star of David is a generally recognized symbol of both Jewish identity and Judaism.

Posting a cartoon depicting a truck with this does make concerned about your intentions.

My mind isn't boggled. It's beyond that. There are some people, who have jumped on the bandwagon, too ignorant to delve deep into the history books and instead have adopted all the soundbites. Those soundbites, include genocide, zionism, land stealers etc. The fact that Hamas deliberately use children to pull at the heartstrings and it works, on those gullible enough to believe that Israel are the oppressors, in the grand scheme of things. It is akin to reading high school essays when you look at some of the sheer naivety.

There are two ambulances in the image. Why not let the professionals take over for treatment ? Why is idf investigating and saying this is not the way it should have been handled ?

Yup - I actually think that whilst some of the actions may be found to violate a code of conduct, this guy had more of a chance with the IDF. They probably had to get out of there ASAP and maybe it was the quickest way?

As far as reporting goes, anybody is free to report anything that breaks MN talk guidelines.

They could have just left and allowed the family to get medical assistance. I agree that that would have been better than abducting him and using him as a human shield.
