No. We have had Jewish people terrified to walk the streets of London. We are not in Palestine this is the U.K. If you’re going to be a part of that - don’t be a coward show your face. Stand by what you believe. You are walking amongst Hamas sympathisers.

What’s happening in Palestine is awful but it’s beyond the reach of the U.K. These matches are something else.

For the small number of unpleasant people who do commit the criminal offence of demonstrating support for a proscribed terrorist organisation, I would imagine that a contributing factor to their decision-making about wearing a mask or other face covering is likely to be that they're committing a criminal offence. If you see people committing this offence (or other offences), you should report it to the police.

I'm guessing you've never experienced doxxing, stalking and harassment then, including threats to harm loved ones... If you had, you might understand why people might want to show support but still maintain a degree of privacy for their own safety.

Many people wear masks at protests and events, for a range of different reasons. It's not just a pro-Palestinian protest thing.

EDL people and the like often use face coverings so they can't be identified and outed as nasty violent racists.

Some people choose to wear face coverings because there can be a real risk of them and their families being targeted and harassed due to identification on social media.

Some people wear face coverings because of infection control/ air pollution/ etc.

Some people wear face coverings for cultural or religious reasons.

Many protestors cover their faces BC they fear repucussions from the police etc.
I presume you mean pro-palestine rather than pro-hamas? What's going on over there is horrific and people have every right to protest. People can cover their faces when they go to Tesco, so why not when marching or protesting legally?
