As with other similar posts to this, there really is no point in debating with people who are so blinkered, in their own echo chamber. A point that has been ignored - why do you think Hamas are refusing to release the remaining hostages? They released the others some weeks ago. Israel have asked for their release so that a cease fire can be put in place. Hamas could, as they did with the others, negotiate to release some of the jailed Palestinians in exchange. My opinion is that the remaining hostages have been murdered, or been raped and tortured in captivity, and to release them would expose Hamas for the savages they are. I’m guessing you will say that of course there are none, because Israel killed them accidentally as they were collateral damage during the bombings. I would disagree on the basis that had this been the case, Hamas would have already declared this. Ironically, we are both wanting the war to stop, but both have different views on how this should be achieved. I say, release the hostages, and then sit down at the table to discuss with third party mediators. You say stop the bombings with hostage release not being a condition, because apparently their murders and torture were necessary to get the terrorist’s point across, and so don’t matter.
