UK revokes visa of law student who addressed pro-Palestine protest

With all the recent threads about the protests, I wonder what everyone thinks about the U.K. Government revoking the visa of 19 year old law student Dana Abuqamar. She said that:

“Freedom of expression is a fundamental human right, but it seems to not apply to ethnic minorities, particularly Muslims and Palestinians like myself.”

She is challenging the decision and has accused the U.K. of hypocrisy. These are her comments, which she said have been taken out of context:

I always see written on Mumsnet that “freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequence.”

Exactly. It’s absolutely mind boggling.
So she said on October 8th last year that she was “full of joy at what has happened”, yet she somehow manages to simultaneously claim that “I never have or never will condone harm to innocent civilians”?
Blatant gaslighting, or does she truly believe none of the people killed, raped, taken hostage on October 7th were innocent? What does she think happened that day? What was she referring to and being “proud of”?

Abuqamar, who has lost 15 relatives in Gaza since Israel began its bombardment of the besieged enclave.

15 relatives killed in a year, it's hard to comprehend that level of loss.

She doesn't seem stupid enough not to have realised hamas role in 7/10.

Her linkedin profile is interesting, very bright, very energetic.
Perhaps she should include some intercommunity faith groups in her purview, meet some peace loving Israelis to balance her outlook. Let's hope she uses her brilliance to advocate for a peaceful 2 state solution.

The report says she has Jordanian/Canadian citizenship, I wonder how many generations.

She is here on a student visa. The day after Hamas massacred 1,200 people in Israel, raped Israeli women and took others hostage she said: she was “really full of joy” and “proud that Palestinian resistance has come to this point.' As @Zimunya said, she had to declare on her visa application that she doesn't support terrorism yet clearly supports Hamas which is a proscribed terrorist organisation in the UK. I see no reason why she should be allowed to stay in the UK.

I did wonder if it was a man. I find it hard to believe a woman could be so hateful and so dismissive of women and children’s suffering, despite what ‘side’ they are on.

Most people I know didn't want the war in Iraq or our involvement but TB carried on regardless

Gadaffi was quoted as saying "You get rid of me and you'll have all of North Africa on your doorstep."

He kept all the desert tribes "in order" (whether that was by the right methods is open to discussion...)

His words came true.

Majority are here because Britain ruined their country. I'm sure if I search deep enough, somewhere somehow there will be a British hand in Albanian politics too lol

The British actually helped Albania by being part of a UN peacekeeping force in the Balkans after the fall of Yugoslavia.
