You have the worst leader probably in Israel’s History leading the worst possible cabinet of fascists and they are out for the blood of as many Palestinians as possible. The hostages are an excuse for them to carry on doing what they are doing. They do not care about the hostages. Once again the USA and UK will do nothing and the death toll will increase further… once the numbers are so high that the Palestinians are no longer considered as big a threat we will have more illegal settlements on Palestinian land, we will see the USA and UK sitting idly by and talking rubbish because the Israeli lobby in the USA is so strong. If that was not the case we would have had some sort of political solution by now. Not all lives are important. Whether it is university students or people doing what they can to boycott good which have links to the Israeli government or people sharing posts which shows the actions of the Israeli government and military we all need to do what we can.

and any criticism, any truth telling, and one gets reported and accused of antisemitism.

I find these threads thoroughly depressing ,, but I think that it important to keep the attention on the barbarity of IDF.

Without 'blaming Israel' for what happened on October 7th- many Israelis and others all over the world know

• that there was ample intelligence that Hamas was about to strike and that Israel has very sophisticated surveillance all along the border, and very sophisticated and precise military equipment that could have destroyed the Hamas attacker at the border which took some time to dismantle with massive bulldozers, or during their advance on the Kibbutz at quite a distance.

Why did they ignore repeated and detailed intelligence? Why did they not step up surveillance of border and the strip beyond? WHY? And why allow a festival to go ahead so close to border when they had such repeated and precise intelligence of intended attack. WHY. Valid questions.

And have decided not to allow food through the rafeh crossing, despite little else getting in. They've already blockaded the sea. People will starve much more quickly now. It is beyond unreasonable.

If Israel had agreed to a ceasefire today, they would've freed hostages.

Instead, Netanyahu chose to bomb Rafah.

Thanks for sharing, really good summary of the lies and support these lies get, mainly by America. They are rarely on the right side of history. I have been so disappointed in Biden and his government on this that I now think he deserves to lose the election, let Trump get into power and with another 4 years of Trump hopefully the US will lose their international influence and credibility.
