Anyone seen the video where the police officer says a swastika is not anti-Semitic at a pro Palestine March?

Really didn’t want to get too involved in these threads as they lead to stress and discomfort but something @LemonyTicket said resonated with me and I had to add my voice .
i love England ; we’ve been here since 1850s which is quite early for Jewish people who generally arrived between 50-70 years later . My family are very British and have been born , educated , paid taxes and worked all their lives and passed away and been buried here .
But we are making tentative plans to leave . Never thought I’d see the day but it’s too dangerous and uncomfortable to stay in England and especially for our next generation .
During the last 6 months our local supermarket was visited by a knife man looking to kill , my daughters netball game in the park was broken up by a group of shouting girls , my elder daughter was physically attacked and is now terrified to walk the streets after dark …… All anti semitic incidents .

No, racism or antisemitism are never OK. We agree on that.
I also think it's not OK to dismiss the killing of thousands of children with hand waving 'people are always dying somewhere' this is were we differ.
And as for getting their names deleted. Wow!

I had already posted a list of the people killed by Hamas on on October 7th.

People are always dying somewhere. It does not make racism acceptable. Does it?

I find it interesting that you feel that's appropriate. I find it more interesting that you think it's appropriate to insult the victim for asking it to be removed.

Just as the names of the innocent people killed, taken hostage and injured on 7/10 should not be erased, nor should the names of the innocent people being killed and injured in Gaza, or the West Bank, for that matter.

Shows just how much those children mattered to some people doesn't it.

It's so sad to watch, because no other minorities would be treated this way in Britain in 2024, but people are very angered by even the word "antisemitism". I think because they are swept up in a wave of it and do not want to have a mirror held up to look into.

People, sadly, are always dying somewhere. Black people would not be told to shut up about Klan rallies in London because people are being murdered in Sudan. It's very weird, and infuriating, and moreover quite heartbreaking.

I can't see my family staying in the UK, and we are third generation refugees. People are simply lost in this. They have become what I thought we would never see again. A policeman who can't say a Swastika is antisemitic!

Already responded to this issue earlier with Kendodds better idea of just leaving it.

No, because there is a difference between quoting a post as an example of something you're trying to explain, and directly attacking an individual.

I have apologised more than once to @Kendodd for any upset caused and I have done my best to explain the views I was trying to express.

Besides, I know how much you all enjoy attacking me, so I don't want to spoil that for you.
