Standing up for Israel

Which is why you should be protesting for Hamas to ceasefire. The high civilian count is on them. They are the ones who are hiding behind refugee camps and hospitals. They are the ones who are incriminating the Gazan people by using them as human shields in incredibly populated urban warfare.

I'm not well versed in the nuances of international law but, surely if a refugee camp is being used to hide frail grandpa war hostages then it is no longer protected under humanitarian law. The ones who broke that humanitarian law was Hamas. Protest against them. Boycott them. March against them. They are out-rightly causing Gazan civilians to be put in the crosshairs of this violence.

@niceandnew Whilst I am pleased that 2 hostages have been rescued, it also meant that at least 67 Palestinians were killed in the air strike and sea attacks.

There is plenty that can and should be reported on these threads that veers into supporting a terrorist organisation (which is not allowed in this country) no case has been concluded yet and Israel is a legitimate government.
If people don't want to discuss 'supporting Israel' then they would be wise to stay off the thread.

And for those posters who were protesting here on MN against Rafah being evacuated. This is why Rafah refugee camp needs to be evacuated. Because Hamas terrorists have hidden civilian hostages there. Not because Israel are barbaric, or out to do evil and to commit genocide as you are so eager to believe.
Rather, Israel have asked for an evacuation of a refugee camp because Hamas have hidden a 60 and 70 year old Israeli hostage amongst the refugees in Rafah.
So please stop rolling your eyes when we tell you that Hamas are using the Gazans as human shields.

There are some Palestinian posters on here who don’t demonise Israelis and show some understanding for the terrible situation they are also in.
And then there are posters who just wade in with a ton of fuel to throw on the fire .

Have they just to ignore the daily abuse they suffer? Just roll over and accept being thrown out of their homes in the name of seeing an "alternative path to hate?"

Lets get some facts here: I was the PP who posted:

After being criticised by several others posters for your response you now try and clearly and deliberately misrepresent my post as somehow blaming the "hate of the West Bank Palestinians", probably because you know you are wrong and hoped that no one would bother to scroll back to the "pp" you referred to.

It is very clear that what I posted in no way blames the West Bank Palestinians, I simply stated that an economically successful and stable West Bank is essential to provide an alternative future to hate and terrorism.

I will continue to correct any further and deliberate attempts to misrepresent my posts.

Israel ending their "blockade" and "occupation" will do nothing for the security of Israel. Until Hamas are out of power Israeli families like @EllaDisenchanted will not be able to live in peace.
You hoping of Israel to permanently ceasefire without mentioning Hamas or the return of the hostages shows you are anything but sorry. Shameful.

@EllaDisenchanted no child should have to know that, and it's a horrible thing that around the world, children who should be able to feel safe and not have to worry about anything more than whether they've finished their homework, have to learn about how to respond in a rocket attack, active shooter situation, etc.
