I’ve read that in the last few days Starmer is concerned about the Muslim people not voting labour cuz of his position

do you think this will have an impact on this years general elections ? I guess whatever they do they’ll lose votes

It takes a special sort of person to realise that if you’re the PM of a country you’ve to condemn every type of killing of children. Not only those that aren’t killed by your weapons. If you don’t want to be called anti-xxx then stop selling weapons that could be used in war crimes and condemn any attack on innocent civilians.
im sorry for you the killing of children in Palestine is only free Palestine drum drum.

Starmer has been in government 3 days and has already condemned the attack on children. He’s receiving loads of backlash for only condemning the killing on some children and not others.

It was beautiful to witness, people are full of righteous indignation and are rightfully holding him to account. Keir has always been an establishment tool and displayed it nakedly by showing support for the War the empire supports, whilst dithering over Palestine.

Why is your response so negative? Surely backing a ceasefire that sees the end to fighting and hostages released a positive step forward.
Is Israel not backing the ceasefire plan put forward by Biden?
From what I have read there has been a breakthrough in recent days, which is the first ray of hope in a very long time for many.

They have also intervened by taking action to delay an arrest warrant being issued by the ICC for Netanyahu, the man who is ultimately responsible, for the response that has displaced 95% of Gaza, and led to the death of thousands of innocent children.

It is our governments support for this action that people protest.

How did you totally miss the point so spectacularly? Our Government have intervened in the Gaza conflict by supporting Israel's actions, that support needs to be withdrawn. And there definitely was plenty of outrage about the Gulf war and Afghanistan, perhaps you weren't interested in that?

FWIW my answer would be Ukraine. I wish the West had been more no tolerance when Russia invaded in 2014

Ukraine, Sudan, Yemen, Syria... So many others. There are so many ways in which countries like the UK could have contributed to finding routes to peace and protecting innocent lives. If a country wants to be a global power on the international stage, they really should use that power for humanitarian purposes rather than just to fulfil greed.

Are you a friend of Cherie Blair & did she tell you that? She had quite a busy & successful career of her own. Starmer rates his wife's opinion very highly as anyone married to an intelligent spouse would. I agree @Scirocco she seems lovely.
