Uk politicians position about the war

I’ve read that in the last few days Starmer is concerned about the Muslim people not voting labour cuz of his position

do you think this will have an impact on this years general elections ? I guess whatever they do they’ll lose votes

The ANC was condemned as a terrorist organisation by the governments of South Africa, the United States, and the United Kingdom. However, it positioned itself as a key player in the negotiations to end apartheid, which began in earnest after the ban was repealed in 1990.

It would be quite interesting if this person actually got the seat and Starmer didn’t. Looking into his Twitter feed I can see he’s against this war

I'm afraid I have no idea what you're talking about, and I don't know how to edit a post.

Maybe you could enlighten me about both?

Posters update the positions of politicians, as that is the subject of this thread. I don't think it means every tweet they post is a full endorsement and agreement with that politician is all I'm saying.

People should be able to update the thread without you saying X's position is only an opinion. We know it's their opinion but it's a relevant update to the thread. If you want to say "so what that's only their opinion" for every single update then knock yourself out.

Andrew Feinstein’s thinking of standing as an independent in Starmer’s constituency Holborn and St Pancras. Would make for an interesting election night. Not that I think this is just an ethnic issue, but over 35% are of BAME or mixed heritage.

Israel are not committing genocide though Hamas have announced that is their intention.
The UK government supports democratic Israel which was attacked by the terrorist group Hamas on 7.10 and which then fired thousands of rockets into Israel as well as holding, and abusing, over a hundred Israeli hostages.
That's foreign policy based on the UK's position as a country.
Not the result of random MPs seeking to represent people not resident in their constituencies.

Your lack of concern or compassion for what's happening to the people of Gaza is genuinely chilling.
