I am worried too. I am hoping it’s not a revenge move by IDF for Hamas raping and taking Israeli women hostage. The US & allies raped and murdered girls and women in Iraq and Afghanistan. Mentioning that in case anyone thinks I am antisemitically demonising IDF, it’s more that I think they are no better than any other armed group of men when it comes to the suffering they inflict on we women.

@MercanDede I heard some released female detainees talk about women from Gaza being held in Israeli prisons. They were said to be held separately and their treatment was 'very bad.' It was not 140 women and girls though, so there has to be other places where they are kept, if they are still alive. There's no oversight at all, anything could be happening to them. Frankly, I'm really worried for them.

Almost half of Gazans are now forced into Rafah

Yet, in Rafah overnight, Israeli airstrikes and bombs injured and killed hundreds of Palestine civilians, more than half of them children.

No where in Gaza is safe. This is Israel’s no-state solution.

Often for women there are additional difficulties living in the camps and tents. Sanitary products are hard to come by and hundreds sharing a toilet. I read some women were using any dirty scraps of cloths they could find in desperation when on their periods and they described the humiliation they felt of not being able to change or clean themselves
I really wish there was more we could do to help.

That’s a gut punch. Why can’t they just stop?! It’s heartbreaking. It’s no place for children. This man made hell on Earth.

I saw this today and I don't know how much worse it should get to cease fire and get them help.

When I look at photos, nobody has proper shoes. Only sandals. The children's feet must be freezing.

@Efacsen I was shocked when I saw the aftermath of the bombing in Rafah. Most of the civilians there as you mentioned are already displaced

I am also very concerned with the bombs that are being used after the recent report that has come to light.

I am waiting to see if Egypt responds to the bombing that is taking place close to the Egyptian border

More than half Gaza's population of 2,3 million are now in Rafah [safe area] so an extra million people are in this 'city' of 208000 - it's horribly overcrowded cold and wet but is the area where some humanitarian aid is being distributed* - huge crowds seen

But Rafah was intensively bombed last night and this morning - really very worrying wrt to these people being pushed out of gaza into n sinai

*this means half the population not in Rafah are getting no aid

And this sort of weather is in for the next 3 months or so - not every day but regularly

I've seen more footage of floods. Shocking. It's actually sickening to watch. People supporting this need their heads examined.

The world needs to get its skates on. I can't imagine how the vulnerable - children, elderly, disabled - will survive another month of this.
